ARMIN VAN BUUREN IN CONCERT:
EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

I just cant describe the excitement i had when i saw my favorite in many years trance DJ. Along the entire show it was an unforgettable experience obviously you will always find weird people among crowd but that didn't ruin my time, fun the whole experience at all. So i recommend it because Hollywood palladium knows how to host big events.
The Armin concert was the perfect balance of new and old, pop and trance. The venue had easy parking nearby (albeit overpriced), plenty of bar stations, and lots of dance space to move. My only complaints were that many people were smoking INSIDE, and the air conditioning wasn't working well - it definitely tainted several guests' experiences!
Had an amazing time. Security checkpoint was super efficient and it didn’t take long at all. Laser lights were super cool. And of course Armin killed it with his set.
He is the best! The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it ended early since he had another event after which wasnt announce at the time tickets were sold. There was no follow up dj either

Armin always put up a good show, and this time was no difference.
I give it a 8.5/10 but I have seen him drop a 9/10 set =)
Armin, last time I saw u was 10-15 yrs ago n Chicago, IL.... Definitely the best show/set I experience this year n MN will b waiting for ur next arrival!
Fantastic show! Rubin DeRonde did a great job getting the crowd ready for 2 1/2 hours of nonstop legendary Armin Van Buren. Every time I thought that there was no way I could jump even one more time I found myself somehow doing it again! The energy of the sold out crowd was phenomenal. Definitely in my top shows of all time (and I've seen A LOT of shows)!
Armin was great, the venue was nice. The openers did a good job.
I love AVB! It was my first time seeing him and he truly is the best EDM DJ in the world. What an honor! The stage was incredible and the music was amazing. The Armory is my favorite concert venue in the Twin Cities now. The only reason this isn’t a 5/5 is because of how long it took him to get on stage. The event started at 9 and he didn’t take the stage for almost 3 hours. For a mainly standing room venue, this can be rough on your feet. I ended up leaving early because I was so tired of standing. The people and atmosphere were incredible and I can’t wait to see AVB and the Armory again!
Armin was absolutely amazing. I would see him a thousand times over.
Atmosphere was amazing. The acoustics at the armory never fail to impress. Also the show being 6 hours validated the money spent.

walking in to show as usual the staff was all very friendly and professional, Jay was already playing away this show was actually the best I have ever seen him play did awesome for opening show, the next performer opened strong had a slight appearance to Armin Van Buuren ut quickly a settled in to strong show his show seemed a little to long with out enough variation Armin Van Buuren took stage opened fast put on great performance
I’ve been 10 years ago in Moscow and the level is even better and cooler 🤤😎
Not my first or last time armin van Buuren never disappoints one of the great dj of all times
Excellent venue, Armin always puts on such an amazing show. First time catching him for one of his album tours but I will be back in Amsterdam again this summer to see Armin again.
The opening acts were great including Ruben DeRonde. Armin’s set was long with a great variety and the special guests he had was an awesome surprise. Can’t wait to see him again!
