ARMIN VAN BUUREN IN CONCERT:
EDM fans have spoken, and veteran Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren is their king. As one of the most popular trance DJs in the world, Van Buuren has topped DJ Magazine's fan poll a record five times, virtually dominating dance music with his unprecedented run at the top of the list from 2007-2010. Following the 2013 release of his fifth album Intense, Van Buuren is once again entrancing fans around the world with his prismatic live shows on the 2014 Armen Only: Intense tour.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Leiden, Netherlands, Armin Van Buuren began DJing while at university, eventually putting his law degree on hold to pursue music full time. He made his first UK chart appearance at just 19 with "Blue Fear," climbing the charts again several years later with "Communication." By 2001, Van Buuren's marathon sets had earned him a spot on DJ Magazine's Top-100 list, setting the stage for the launch of his hugely popular State of Trance radio show. While his skills as a producer were highlighted on his 2003 full-length debut 76, it was 2008's Imagine that really broke the mold — the album peaked at No. 1 in the Netherlands, a first for a dance music artist in Dutch music history.

Amazing show with the greatest dj in th world and such a great venue you can't go wrong. New album release made it that much better. Unfortunately it was called due to thunder which sucked.
FIRST TIME I GOT TO SEE ARMIN VAN BUUREN PLAY AND IT WAS INTENSE I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW AN ARMIN ONLY OR AN ASOT TOUR WILL FEEL LIKE GREAT NIGHT A NIGHT TO REMEMBER
I did not know what to expect but I was blown away. It was amazing! Ashame Mother Nature didn't cooperate because it ended 30 minutes early but nonetheless it was great. I would have paid double.

Festival Pier....beautiful venue for a concert....Armin was incredible ..the weather was perfect...what more can be said.....if it wasn't for the rain that shut Armin Down for the last half hour by order of the philadelphia police department it would of been a five star rating.........
Armin was amazing, no doubt about that. The weather really put a damper on things ending the event early. Should have had a back up plan because I really did not feel that two hours was worth $100.
It was a great concert with a great crowd. The venue was great as well.
I have been to Ultra, but I had never been to a trance show before. I guess it was only fitting that my first trance show would would be ASOT600. Armin had amazing energy and the vibes were amazing. On thing that wasn't cool was the rain cutting the show a little short
Armin Van Buuren always puts on a great show, but it was awesome to finally see him live in Philadelphia!! Never disappoints!
Armin was incredible. His set was spot on and everyone was dancing the entire time. We were right up front the entire show and it was truly unforgettable. The pier was a great venue too. Definitely showed us why he's number 1 in the world.
It's always a rare treat when a world class trance artist graces our city with their presence. This was no exception. One of the best shows I've ever been to. I'm looking forward to seeing him return to philly.
This was my first armin concert and I loved it. It ended prematurely but it was really worth it. The stuff he played was just crazy. He was promoting his new album intense but I was glad he played some of his older stuff like Mozart and Skyfire.
I loved seeing his set! I can never complain when it comes to Armin Van Buuren he is the god of trance!! Too bad he had to cut his set short....due to a bad rain storm. Hopefully next time an epic event like this happen they will be prepared!
Show was amazing, very over crowded, but the preformance was amazing!
As always, Armin put on an unbelievable show! I highly recommend seeing him if you have the chance.

one of the greatest performances i have ever been to. I only wish it lasted all night! I could sit there and dance all night to this wonderful music combined with the great effects that was provided by Insomniac! Great show, if Armin Van Buuren is in your town, buy tickets immediately and see the show. You will NOT regret it.
I was pretty skeptical at first because of the location (RIMAC arena) but Armin made it an amazing show. There is a reason he is #1 DJ in the world.
The show was amazing, the venue was good, fun time!!!
Overall I loved it. I wish it would have gone longer, but its understandable that it didn't because of finals going on for colleges. I also liked the somewhat more intimate feel of the smaller RIMAC Arena as a nice change from bigger venues that can hold 15000 plus. People just had really friendly and positive vibes and attitudes there, overall. Of course, Armin killed it, as he always does. I would definitely go back.
