The play was wonderfully performed. However, in a show geared toward children why did they have to add in so many swear words? We almost walked out because of the constant swearing in this show. It seemed a bit surreal, actually. Very poor taste. I would not recommend this show or ever go see it again unless you want to teach your children how to swear. And the strange part is that all the swearing was unnecessary.

We loved this production. The children and adult actors were so talented. Even the dog was perfect in his role. The Embassy is such a beautiful theater. We can hardly wait to go back.

We saw the Broadway Annie here in Evansville Thursday evening and it was phenomenal!! The cast and crew were amazing and the conductor and orchestra were really just awesome! I am the biggest fan of Wicked but this came in as my all time second favorite Broadway show!! All around great time!

Wonderful time especially for the whole family!! Kept my attention the whole time and they breaked at the perfect time. Only a one time seer though. I wouldn't want to see it again, however, if someone asked me to go with them. I would. The seating was tight however!! My knees were touching the seat infront of me and I'm not very tall. 5"6. But all in all, it was a wonderful time!!

Did not live up to the hype. Drab interpretation of the movie. No set to speak of. Kids gave excellent performances, adults actors phoned it it.

This was an excellent show! The singing was absolutely beautiful! They did an awesome job of adapting such a familiar movie to the stage. Enjoyed it all!

Loved the production. The kids were so good, and everything was spot on. While the sets were minimal, they were effective. These tickets were a Christmas gift for my 10 year old granddaughter and she was delighted.

  • Thoroughly enjoyable

I have been promising my granddaughter to take her to see Annie for years. Things always came up that made us unable to attend. Now at the ripe old age of thirteen, I was afraid she was getting too old. She, as well as her mother and myself enjoyed every minute. We even got to meet Sandy as we were on our way to the parking lot. His trainer says he loves to meet his fans.

  • 4 and 1/2 stars

by DAAD on 3/4/16The Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater - SyracuseRating: 4 out of 5

The kids were greatly talented. The adults are really the supporting roles....and I was so engrossed in the kid-centered plot, that I almost forget how talented the adults are: ..... a beautiful adult voice would pop up and be a STUNNER! The trained "Sandy" dog has everyone oohing. Miss Haggerty is one on the most natural and funny actresses that I have had the pleasure of seeing live. She is such a comedic talents, that I almost forgot to appreciate her wonderful singing voice--she stole the show! To bad --no matinee-- because this is great show to introduce you kids to live theater--tough to be out late on a school night. The families that were there all seemed to LOVE it.

I took my adult daughter to see this play. Shes in college and she got to use it for extra credit for her Music AP. class. We had a wonderful time, the venue was very nice, the Play was simply wonderful. The actors were very well rehearsed, the sets were well done and I just cant stop praising this show. We cant wait for the next Broadway traveling season to begin. You have acquired a couple of permanent fans and we will be going to many events. I hope to get to take her to see the South Pacific someday. Again Thank you for a wonderful Evening
