The play 'Annie' was so charming and delightful. My granddaughter was mesmerized by the total event of going to the FOX to see her favorite little orphan. I would certainly recommend it to anyone. I give it an A+. Cynthia

The kids in this production are amazing, especially the little girl who plays Annie. The songs are some of my favorites and of course, The Fox is the venue to see any musical in!

I took my two daughters and two grand-daughters to the "Fabulous Fox" and it was awesome. The grand-daughters (age 8 and 6) were singing along - they knew this musical backwards and forwards from a DVD. After the show ended, I asked the girls how they enjoyed it. They replied, "it is way better than the movie"! So, mission accomplished as we had a wonderful evening!!!!

The cast was phenomenal. The singing was excellent and my 8 yr old daughter thoroughly enjoyed. I too was 8 when my mom took me to my first broadway show at the Fox Theater. It felt good sharing this with my daughter.

  • Annie was a class act!

This was a fabulous production of Annie (we have seen a couple). All of the performers were incredible, but the youngsters were especially talented. The Fox, of course, never fails to be a great venue. We took our three children, all of whom enjoyed the show. My only complaint would be with regards to scheduling. I wish there was a daytime matinee available NOT on a Saturday or Sunday for those of us who homeschool or have children attending who are under school age. The evening start times are a little late for those attending with younger children especially for a family friendly production.

  • Wonderful!

I have been to many Theater of the Stars presentations, and in terms of walking out with a smile on your face and a positive attitude, this was among the best. The acting was wonderful, the voices superb, the story flowed well, the message was positive, it was clean and appropriate for any age, and perhaps most of all the actors all seemed to be having a ball up there.

  • Annie was fantastic!

The play was terriffic! The songs were ones that we knew mostly from the Alicia Morton Annie movie version. When something is as much of a classic as Annie is, it can be a letdown if you go from one medium to another (ie, a movie to a play), and this was not the case. All the performers were excellent and the look, feel, and sound were just as we knew it. Being there live made it magical for my 7-year old daughter and she hasn't stopped gushing about it since we saw it. I have been in love with Annie since I was 9 years old and this show had a lot to live up to in my eyes, and it completely exceeded my expectations!

  • Annie was phenominal!

Great performance and singing by all. I've seen the movie but this was better by far.

  • Annie was adorable!

Perfect! We loved it. I took my adult daughters and although there was much commotion in the audience (little ones), we loved it. The young girl who plays Annie is spectacular as was Daddy Warbucks.

What a great show. My 6 year old daughter was smiling the entire night! It's the best show by far for girls of all ages!!!

  • Annie was GREAT!

    by db456 on 1/15/10Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was my 7 year old daughter's first visit to the FOX. This was a great age because she understood the story and she has a much longer attention span. She was on the edge of her seat and smiling the whole performance.

  • Annie

It was an awesome play. The orphans were amazing, as was Ms. Hannigan. The three little girls we took loved it and sang along with all the songs. My only negative comment was that the Fox Theater in Atlanta was WAY too hot!

  • Adults and Kids both loved it!!

Great show. Husband, wife, 12 year old daughter and 9 year old son loved it. Everyone in the theater seemed to be walking around smiling and singing Annie tunes at the end of the show.

Great cast with incredible voices and presence. The children were exceptional.....all of them...like seasoned performers. The Fox did a great job of accomodating this type of event with kids. As always, a pleasure to be there! On a side note....You ask us to upload our photo's but when we took out a camera to take a pic of my daughter and myself ...30 minutes before showtime....we were told to put the camera away and the usher stood there while we did.
