Three of us including an 8 year old girl enjoyed the story, the acting, the music and the comedy. In the words of the 8 year old "we want to see it again."

The show was wonderful, very talented singers. The only down was the few that decided to bring two year olds to a late night performance and expect them to sit through it (did not happen!) But, that's not the shows fault..amazing performance.

Took my almost 3 year old who loves the movie. She would have loved to have met some of the characters. The intermission was a little too long. The play was not over until close to 10:30pm. I noticed a lot of young kids (mostly girls) in the audience. The event may have started a little too late and ended too late.

  • ANNIE was a hit!

by Churchladythelma on 3/10/10Montgomery Performing Arts Centre - MontgomeryRating: 4 out of 5

My daughter, my two granddaughters and I had a girl's night out with dinner and ANNIE. We all enjoyed ourselves to the hilt, but my granddaughters, ages 9 and 11, enjoyed it the most. They knew most of the lyrics to the songs and had seen both versions of the movie.....they were prepared to enjoy the show. Hope you keep on bringing us this caliber of theater!

  • Annie was Great!

Annie was great! We really enjoyed it! Our seats were awful. When I purchase the tickets online I can't tell where the seats are and I always end up in the balcony and can't see the play very well. I am glad that we do get great musicals like this to come to our area and I hope we will get many more.

  • Annie was F-Ann-tastic!

Took my five-year old daughter. She had a wonderful time and sang along with all the songs. Great entertainment. It was a late night, but she insisted on going to school today so that she could show off her t-shirt. I wish the tickets did not cost so much. We could only afford for two members of our family to attend.

Annie was a wonderful show! My five year old daughter loved it too. Now she wants to own the DVD. This is a classic musical that made me want to be a little girl again.

  • Great Cast

This is a great story of hope and never giving up. What a great cast. I was a quite put off by the d-word being used so much because this venue was advertized for the family. Ms. Hannaday was fantastic. Molly was amazing too. I was very impressed with the girl who played Annie.

Excellent show. I would recommend any Annie fan to go see it.

  • Madison Kerth makes this Annie special

by TimCam on 3/3/10Paramount Arts Center - AshlandRating: 5 out of 5

It was a sold-out show in at the Paramount in Ashland for the national tour of Annie. This production is excellent with a strong cast of orphans, adults and a terrific dog. However this Annie is special because Madison Kerth plays the lead as a pitch-perfect Annie. She never takes Annie too far and her honesty brings a lump to your throat if you, like me, have heard the songs a thousand times. You should see Annie every 2 or 3 years just for good mental health. So find a kid who wants to go and don't miss this production!

  • "Annie"=Amazing!

by Tony91 on 2/21/10Toby's Dinner Theatre Columbia - ColumbiaRating: 5 out of 5

I would recommend Toby's to everyone! If you enjoy musicals and plays, Toby's is THE place to go. The food was great, the service was superb, and the acting was PHENOMENAL! I could not believe how talented all these men and women were, and how great they were on their feet, on and off the stage. Not to mention, everyone was very friendly and personable, and the show itself made me feel like we were really there! The actors and actresses, as well as the set design, was the best I've ever seen! If you are looking for a great place to go for an evening with great food and great entertainment, you HAVE to try Toby's!

  • Ali Nicolai Shines

by Anonymous on 2/17/10Empire Arts Center - Grand ForksRating: 5 out of 5

This is a typical community theatre production. So, if you dont mind a mishap here or there, this is a show to attend. I have always disliked Annie and all Annie things, however my wife wanted to go, and I had to please. However, from the moment that Ali Nicolai hit the stage, I was amazed. Her presence and voice was that of someone far older. I have a feeling that this is a star in the making. Would highly recommend going, even I had fun and enjoyed myself.

This was a great little production of Annie. All of the actors seemed to fit their parts well and the young girl playing Annie did a tremendous job.

I decided to introduce musical plays to my 7 year old daughter by taking her to Annie. The night was truly memorable one for us. The cast was energetic and very entertaining. It was helpful for my daughter to relate to the music as they have been singing a few songs from Annie in the music classes at school.
