  • Not great for young children (under 7 y/o)

    by walshie6 on 1/24/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

I took my 7 y/o daughter, and while there were parts of it that she enjoyed, she was also bored during alot of it. Know that it is the FULL Annie version, including alot of dialogue. I felt that the acoustics weren't all that stellar either, as we were sitting about 3/4 of the way back on the main floor of the Fox. The acting and singing was awesome, but it was a long show for little kids.

Really great cast!! The performers were amazing!! I wish they would have tweaked the dialogue and taken out most of the "hell's" & "damn's", due to the ages of the majority of the audience. That really was my only complaint. the show was really wonderful!! A definite do-over for our family!

  • ANNIE was excellent!!

ANNIE at the Fox Theater was wonderful. An excellent cast! Findley Handsard was unbelievable!! What a great show. And of course the Fox Theater was a fabulous place to watch the show!! I took my 4 year old and he loved the show too!

  • Annie was unforgetable

by JediJD on 1/24/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Took my grandsons (4 & 7) and daughter. They really enjoyed their first experience with live theatre. The seats were perfect. If I was to complain about anything is the fact that at intermission the crowd at the concession stand and the limited women's facilities was almost unbearable.

  • Really fun!!

This was everything you would expect and more. Sally Struthers as Ms Hannigan was hysterical.

  • Annie was awsome

I never saw Annie until this production; neither on TV, a play, nor the comic strip, or a book. I purchased tickets for me and my wife as one of her Christmas gifts. We loved it, and if I were to be blessed with a baby girl, I would invite her to a showing one day.

  • Annie was terrific

I took my 10 year old daughter to see Annie. I was worried about our seats which were in the balcony, but ends up we could see just fine. We loved it! My daughter was captured the entire time! Sally Struthers was exceptionally funny! Daddy Warbuck was fabulous and so was Annie!

excellent show all around - I remember loving it when I was 10 years old, and my 8 + 10 year olds loved it too! Sally Struthers was amazing.

  • I teach them not to curse!

by SixPeeps on 1/24/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 3 out of 5

This is such a great show if you can get past the numerous "damn"s and the one "what the hell"! Come on people. Can folks really not take their kids to a show these days without going alone to check it out first? It is really sad that a long time running show such as this one has to stoop to these levels. Do they think it is funny and amusing for the parents? If so, that was not the case for myself and parents in my section. It is embarassing. I should not have to pay that much for a ticket to a show and then have to "undo" damage when i get home. Be the change you wish to see in people and make your show clean for children!

  • Cute!

I have not seen this since I was 10 years old - 30 years ago. Very talented young ladies!! Enjoyed it.

  • Annie was nice

we took our granddaugter 5 yrs old to see Annie, she really enjoyed it, she didn't drink any of her drink until intermission. The girl that played Annie was good but she didn't smile. We seen Annie at the Fox a few years ago, thought that was great

  • Annie was very disappointing!

    by Lynn1773 on 1/24/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 2 out of 5

I expected much more coming from FOX theater. The musical was boring and lacked any spectacular moments. I feel my money was wasted. I left wishing I hadn't gone.

  • Annie was AMAZING!

My two daughters and I were totally enthralled during the entire performance! Sally Struthers, and the actresses who played Annie and Molly were all show stoppers! The entire cast was fantastic and I would definitely recommend this play!

  • What a wonderful show!

by cobyco on 1/23/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

An all-American show from beginning to end. Children galore - although sometimes their voices were a bit shrill. Otherwise they were a delight to watch. Sally Struthers did a good job as Ms Hannigan. It was a fun evening with great music & a job well done by all!

  • Great!

by Graceandmom on 1/23/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 4 out of 5

Overall, the show was great and the kids were fantastic! I thought Sally Struthers was funny at times and overacting most of the time. Her singing was horrible. Little Sara Goldberg stole the show.

Believe it or not I saw Annie Thursday and Saturday. Once with our season pass and the next time with my Grandkids. What a treat!

  • Annie's the best!

    by jdhwsp4me on 1/23/12Fox Theatre Atlanta - AtlantaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a fabulous show, totally entertaining the entire 3 hours. Took my daughter and grandaughter to see this event. Sally Struthers was great as Ms. Hannigan! She was very funny and not too mean. However, the children were the highlight to the show. They were so cute and believable in their roles.

We took our 5yr old to her 1st show at the "Big" theater. It was unforgettable. The children were so talented, and the rest of the casts were wonderful.
