We loved this classic broadway play. It was a delight and the songs were amazing. It is obvious that they have the show down to a science. My family and I enjoyed the show. Only complaint... the NYC song is really a weird, it doesn't fit with the rest of the show...other than that....great time !
The story of ANNIE never gets old. I took my granddaughter who is 7. We had front row seats. The show was absolutely awesome. The music was great and the characters were perfect. Nice job by everyone.
Annie is appropriate for many age levels. The singing, costuming and acting were of very high quality. I would recommend this production.
My 9 yo, my husband, and I all had a great time! We have been singing the songs since. Must see!
My first broadway play and it was amazing! My husband even was happy with the performance.
The sets were fantastic. I found out later on that we had the understudy for the lead part. She did incredibly well but honestly it was the guy that played Warbucks - totally spot on!
I remember seeing this when I was a little girl and it was just as exciting to see it again as an adult with my little girls. Annie is a classic and all the actors performed perfectly! A family must see.
We loved the performance Annie, the music was awesome, the performers were top notch, fun and funny. The costumes and scenery were great. A few too many swear words for my taste, not necessay and it was an audience of children, but otherwise it was great.
Loved the play from beginning to end! Very entertaining and a wonderful, talented cast! Bravo....
My daughter and I enjoyed the Broadway production of Annie very much! The acting, singing, and even the sets were amazing!

I just had a fabulous time today with JoJo. She knew she was getting a surprise for her 11th birthday present from Grandma and Grandpa (she was told it wasn't here yet which was truthful) ... the car parked behind the courthouse (parallel parking on the street only took me tongue emoticon 3-5 minutes but the wait in line for parking ramp would have taken much longer so we walked). Her seeing all the signs for the RV show at DeVos Center as we headed there, she guessed that we were going get something for camping ... lol. She was sweet but you could see confusion as I told her that I really thought she would love her surprise ... it was going to be a great memory. She kept asking and I simply replied "I don't want to ruin the surprise so please just wait to see it". When we went into the DeVos Performance Hall doors ... she saw the signs inside and I watched her process ... you could see it finally "click" ... and her smile was so beautiful! Tickets to her first Broadway Musical - "Annie" and in fabulous seats. I was pleased that it was so well performed and interestingly staged. I wanted her first "broadway" musical to be wonderful. She loved it. I loved experiencing it through her eyes ... what wonderful memories! I have my days as a cool "old" person. Getting the tickets through ticketmaster online was easy too. We knew exactly what we were paying, where we would be seated, etc. Afterward, I bought her a cute Annie pin to wear on whatever she chooses later and as a keepsake of the event. (wanted the locket but when asked about it ... was told it was "just metal" and the woman wouldn't say nay to turning her skin green). Afterward, we walked to watch the ice skaters in Rosa Circle and walked all of safe downtown Grand Rapids. Her hair was fabulous and she was dressed simply like casual college (coverage was age appropriate) ... fashionably great. Then we walked back to the car and headed off to watch the new Annie movie in the theater (the rest of my birthday present).Now headed for sleep..finally succumbing to our Icee and buttered popcorn junk food comas. How many kids can say that they saw the Broadway Annie and the new movie of Annie all in the same day?
My family and I had a great time, seats were good, staff were nice, and the performance was really good.

Very well written and acted. It was easy to understand . The action moved rapidly, including marvelous set changes. The singing was great, on pitch and very well balanced with the live orchestra. I actually learned a lot about the Great depression. However, the program in general was very upbeat and happy. Children really enjoyed it.
Annie is my all time favorite broadway musical. I have seen Annie on stage more than 10 times and I love every cast I have seen perform. Great show!!!!
The cast did a wonderful job!! My daughter thought Miss Hannigan was hilarious! We had a great time!
This is one of the best plays we have seen. The acting, the singing, the pit orchestra, the sets... absolutely top notch. We loved every minute!
We attended one of the early "national tour" performances at the Detroit Fisher Theater over 30 years ago and thought it was wonderful then. It still is. We took our two granddaughters ages 6 & 8, and they were enthralled. The cast was excellent and their delivery on all the songs was spot on! Bravo to this crew and production staff!
My daughter and I were just in awe of the musical Annie. It was spectacular and wonderfully done. I can't say enough about the performers, stage crew, the sets, the orchestra, the producers - EVERYONE and EVERYTHING was GREAT!!!!
