I went with my family to this amazing play. It was unforgettable...Our seats were awesome, the music was fantastic. I can't say enough... Highly recommend going to see this before it is sold out.
We've seen a few ANNIE productions and must say that this one was the BEST ever. What a surprise and treat!
Very good! I only wished they had included "Let's go to the movies."
I knew my small daughters would enjoy the show but I have to be honest and admit I had a great time as well. Everything was on point and very entertaining. We even got to meet most of the cast after the show. It was definitely a great night!
enjoyed the show so much, would love to see it again in a heartbeat
Opening night to see Annie was terrific. Found my seat ok. Started a bit late. Bought a lovely program & t shirt. Cast was great & just plain funny! The show had a lot of my favorite songs. Just loved it! Well done. Did not disappoint.
If you're looking for the perfect family night at the theater, look no further than "Annie" at the Pantages. This touring company presents the classic story of a Depression-era orphan who finds happiness with non-stop enthusiasm, optimism and joy! Wonderful voices, enthralling choreography, spirited dialog and perfect casting. Of note, Garrett Deagon, as "Rooster" brings exuberance, humor and incredible dance moves to the stage, playing perfectly alongside the amazingly talented Lynn Andrews as "Miss Hannigan" who kept the audience in stitches. Kudos as well to Gilgamesh Taggett, who brought the right balance of pomposity and vulnerability to his role as Oliver Warbucks. Scenics were spot-on and detailed. Don't miss this terrific show! Even if you've seen the show before, see this company - the added choreography, musical arrangements and overall spirit of the company made me smile from curtain to curtain......
Great show, and very entertaining. Nice to see a family friendly musical.
That is what my niece exclaimed when I called her Dad..to let him know we were on our way home. It was a fantastic Auntie - Niece date. It was a wonderful show!! Her eyes were glued to the stage!
Annie was a fun show. I went to the matinee and a lot of young kids were not able to sit still that long. I feel for the matinee shows they should make it a shorter show (it was 2 1/2 hours) and call it a kid friendly version. Skip some of the songs and shorten the show. Also they didn't do a good job with telling how Annie got to keep Sandy. We saw Sandy once and then he was brought out at the end of the show. My 7 yr old niece said that's not how the story goes. It was a cute show. Just too long for kids under 10 I think.
We really enjoyed the show. The child actors were right on point. The set designs were authentic looking and reflected the time setting of the story. Highly recommend this show.
Annie was awesome! The cast was funny and energetic. I laughed so hard. The lady who played Miss Hannigan was a stitch! ! The singing was beautiful. ..the whole cast was flawless.
Excellent performance! We love all the shows at Centennial Hall. Got stuck behind some tall individuals at this past show.
Set changes were quick & magical! Very creative. Music memorable - you want to sing along. Kids were very talented (singing & acting), enthusiastic and energetic. Daddy Warbucks was excellent. Altho Sandy the dog had only a brief appearance, he/she was a well-trained "actor." Annie was talented but her voice was a little on the "squawky" side and she didn't appear with curly hair until the very end. Definitely a show to take young children to see.
The musical was fantastic. We laughed, sang along to the songs we knew (almost all of them). We left with a "happy" feeling. It was great!
This show was great! I would see it again, and again, and again. A very good performance. I would recommend it to everyone!
This is a wonderful performance of Annie. Just as I was thinking how very talented the actor/s were along comes another actor or actors as talented or more talented than before. I have seen Annie before, but this is the best performance of Annie of all. The only issue I have is with centennial hall is the acoustics. I could hear the songs with no problem because the cast just belted out their songs. The dialog was a different story...I missed a lot of the dialog. But like I said I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THE SHOW ANNIE.
Miss Hannigan was great - her voice was nice and strong. I could not understand a lot of Annie's lines - her voice was not strong enough. The Orchestra music was very good and the "group singing" was fine, but the poor sound system made it hard to catch all the lines.
FUNNY TALENTED CAST, BEAUTIFULLY DESIGNED SETS, EXCELLENT CHOREOGRAPHY AND FABULOUS MUSIC. WALKED OUT SINGING, GIGGLING AND GIDDY....OVERALL IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE!
