the show and performance was ok. not great, not bad. just ok,,,, band was very good.
The vibe was cozy, warm and wonderful. Angie was very interactive and intimate. She shared a piece of herself on the stage. You felt it and I loved it. It wasnt just about the music, it was about transformation. Perfect timing for me. The food was fabulously tasty and the drinks were nice and strong (just like I like it). It was so worth my time. Will visit the venue again and most definitely see Angie again. 10 stars...
She did a lot of songs. She went down memory lane. There were a few of her songs I wished she would have performed. Overall A + show.
Angie Stone has always been one of my favorites. This is my first time seeing her live and she did not disappoint. Angie has that veteran stage presence knowing how to keep her audience engaged as well as entertained. She was accompanied by a amazing band and very soulful back-up singers. I will definitely go see her again.
Thoroughly enjoyed Angie Stone's performance! I love that she covered some of her old hits along with the current. I prefer the intimacy of The Birchmere over the large impersonal arenas, which is why I'm a "frequent flyer"!
Angie's stage presence was great, just preferred to hear her sing more of her own songs. Too much time spent singer others' music. Didn't hear many of her hits. The few hits sung were only for a few minutes.
The concert was incredible and the venue was wonderful as usual.
Angie was great, as usual. Venue seating awful. It took 15 mins for us to find two seats as many had reserved seats using their coats and the waitresses were no help. Once we found seating all the way in the back, it took 15 mins to get a waiter. Food was very good but service was bad. They should have ushers or reserved seating at this venue. The concert was very, very good, unfortunately the venue didn't do the artist justice. Oh, and the sounds system was making scratching noises during her last two songs.
She sound horrible and she only sung like 4 or 5 of her songs and not the entire song...she mostly sung all of everyone else stuff...terrible.
The show was awesome me and my wife had a ball the place was really nice the food and drinks was awesome I would return to see a another show
I expected a full performance of Angie’s songs not skits of other songs. Could have done so much better. Still a fan though. Love her!
I love the lyrics of all Angie Stone s songs...always thought provoking and beautiful . She was in great voice.
Drinks expensive and to crowded rather pay for a seat
The food was delicious, the drink just strong enough and the talent....Angie Stone sis the dawn thing. There really wasn't a bad seat in the house. We had a great experience!
Totally delivered it! Sold out! Great music audience participation.
All I can say is OMG she sang. Angie is off the chain and she keeps it real. I love u Angie and so glad that God has answered your prayers. When u let go and let God take over that wheel nothing but sunshine comes next. U ARE ONE AMAZING WOMAN AND ONE AWESOME SINGER. Your band those young men are so talenred and they sound awesome. Your background singers their voices are amazing and brought tears to your eyes voices from heaven. I have acid reflux also so i know its a pain in the butt. God stopped that devil tonight because that acid reflux did not win tonight Angie did and showed out. Angie much luv to you. ♡♡♡♡♡
Angie sang her old and new hits. She takes you back and then bring to today's best r&b. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. I almost forgot she started in the business showing the guys in rap how to rock the house. Thank you Ms. Stone. You did the damn thing.
Had a good time great performance. Angie band was good also
I really enjoyed the show however, Angie announced that her voice had some medical issues but she had a back up plan and used her band and backup singers to save the day so that was great! Every woman needs a back up plan she mostly sang cover music by other artist paying homage to their passing and old school music but the only thing I was missing was hearing more of her music I think I heard about two songs that I recognized from her but all and all it was a nice show considering her voice was struggling but she gave it all she had and for that I appreciated her staying in the midst of it all and giving her fans a nice time.
Very warm genuine likable sincere artist. Too much material from new album. I prefer the known hits.
