Not as good as we were expecting

by Everybodysmommy on 3/1/23Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

It was a good performance, not amazing but good, most of our issues were with the venue. Very disappointing there, parking was terribly, we artived almost an hour early and still missed the first 10 minutes of the performance.

Was not sure on how they were going to do the evil guy and his bat. But they did an excellent job with the story line.

    What a magical experience

    by S. T. on 2/8/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

I absolutely loved this show. The music was amazing and the cast was fantastic. I especially loved the actors who played Lily and Vlad, their romantic yet comical performance was brilliant! The actors portraying Anastasia and Dimitri also had great on stage chemistry. All of the songs were beautifully sung and enunciated well. The set and costumes were phenomenal. Loved loved loved this show!!

Do NOT take children to this show

by Stan on 2/8/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

This is not the Disney story. It isn't historical either. It isn't funny. Don't bring children. Amazing energy from Anna/Anastasia. Wonderful background usage.

    Excellent!

by Jody B on 2/7/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

Everything was superb! I was very impressed with the actors and ballerina's. I've been to many Broadway shows and sometimes the acting comes across as, well, acting. But these actors were true to their craft. The timing and delivery was on point. I didn't feel like I was watching "actors" but real characters. The ballerinas were also amazing! The set, props, live music, everything was truly worthy of five stars. I'd see Anastasia again and highly recommend it.

by Chip on 2/7/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

This is went it goes perfect. Ease of booking. I goofed and picked the wrong date and time. Ticketmaster worked with me to make the date and time change. Great, compassionate service. The show was magnificent. The whole experience was a compelling story I will remember for a long time. Thank you, Ticketmaster. You are the best!

Different from movie but well done

by Alice on 2/7/23Capital One Hall - Tysons

Definitely more serious than the movie, and they cut out "In the dark of the night"! The actors did a great job and I cried several times during it. It was more moving than the movie. I was never bored. I'd recommend it.

    Beautifully scored play

by HughJveinieWeen1984 on 2/1/23Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

We enjoyed the play very much a little long and historical if you’re taking little kids but great story and catchy songs. The high def projection back drops were beautiful. General Villain is a weak character should have left creepy Rasputin.

    Anastacia @ Scranton

The show was amazing. The staging, the music, the story. Took our granddaughter to see it. Her name is Anastacia (a one letter difference). She loved it!

First time at Scranton cultural center

by Lisa on 1/31/23Scranton Cultural Center - Scranton

The show Anastasia was great! The theatre seating is extremely tight & a bit close to your neighbor. No elbow room. Some ceiling tiles are dangling which is a bit unnerving to see. Edie at the ticket check in was extraordinary. Had a few moments before the doors opened to chat with her & she was delightful.
