Very talented guitar player and the band is great.
So I've not been to the taft ballroom before-it was very sparce, but it had hat was needed for a great show. Noah Weatherspoon opened he was young but very good blues guitarist, I believe he is a local to Cincinnati. Anyways, Ana stepped onto the stage sporting a hot little dress-she was so sexy, and when she whales the out the blues on her guitars it makes her more sexy. She had two horns from Italy, and a young keyboadist, and we met the bassist after the show, he was supper kool, hailing from Akron. great show!
Was the best concert this year! What a fabulous and gifted Singer/Songwriter and Musician.
excellent show, will definitely see again next time around
I have seen her many times over the last or 7 years. This performance was her best. Complemented with a horn section, the band took on a richness and full sound that I have not experience since a Blues Cruise many years ago.
We saw the opening act, Noah Wutherspoon a few years back. His music was so depressing we had to leave the venue. This time he was fantastic! Very, very impressive and dynamic in his guitar skills and song choices. I had seen Ana Popovic twice before, have an album and thought she was the greatest female guitarist in the world. At first, I thought she lost her skills. There were leads by the sax, trumpet, keyboards, bass, and herself. She seemed to play the same lead for each of the first 4 or 5 songs, I wanted to leave in disappointment. THEN she played "Johnny Ray" both her vocals and guitar work demonstrated the dynamism I have come to expect. The rest of the concert was OUTSTANDING, as usual. GO ANA?
Great Show - Ana sounded great and engaged the Crowd throughout the show!
One of the best guitarists around. Loved the venue and Ana was amazing!
Ana Popovic gained 2 new fans Thursday night at the Taft Ballroom in Cincinnati. My wife and I sat in the first row and just marveled at her amazing guitar playing, singing and working the crowd into a frenzy. In short, Ana knocked it OUT OF THE BALLPARK!!
If you've never caught her live, you owe it to yourself to do so.
Better than Joe Bonomassa by far!!! Best guitar of the millennium! World class talent!
The performance was everything I was hoping for. The concert was very exciting and the band was excellent. She is so talented and commands the stage with her prowess . I would see her again in a heartbeat!
Ana can really play the guitar. She played blues jazz Rock and slide. Her accompanying band was also very good. She has a great stage presence. I would definitely go see her again.
Can't believe I saw such an incredible guitar player right here in my hometown. Recommend highly the Cohoes Music Hall to anyone that enjoys music. Great acoustics
From start to finish, atmosphere electric , Ana is absolute master of modern blues , guitar sound fantastic , can't wait to see her again , super show!
She is so talented, high energy show. A great guitar player. Don't miss her if you get the chance to see her!
Ana played for over 90 minutes, never letting up. Fantastic guitar player, tight band and great venue.
High energy! Master guitar player! Up close Nd personal in this venue.
Third time seeing her. She just gets better each time. The band was tight as always even though it was different players this time. Sound was great. Ponte Vedra Concert Hall is always a great venue. Ana is a seriously great musician and stage performer. Will catch her every time she comes close. To anyone that has not seen her live, treat yourself.
As usual, Ana Popovic delivered the goods. Amazing guitar work, superb band, strong vocals and extreme energy. One of my favorite live performers.
