Anna’s first set was okay. All her new stuff. We could tell when the second set started the crowd was really into it. People up dancing around and continuous applause.
She’s in a league of her own. All class and style. An excellent show and flawless example of a blues rock icon. Thank you Ana.
I was close, in the 6th row. I truly loved every moment of the show. Ana and her band are incredibly talented! At the break I went to the back and purchased a tee shirt. Love the shirt. And was going to go get it signed but I didn’t follow through, I left after the show and wished had of went and met them after the show. Hopefully next time! 🎨🎶😊❤️

The band was obviously great, but the venue had the sound blasting too loud and the sound mix was so bad they had to keep re-tuning it during the show. Bass was blown out, couldn't hear the vocals, etc.

This was not a good show because the person working the sound board didn’t know what they were doing. It was obvious Ana wasn’t happy either. Not the experience we expected.
Ana is one of todays Most Talented Guitarist/Singer/Songwriters ! Her Concert at the Blue Note Was Phenomenal !! She has the Blues/Jazz Riffology of likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, BB King, with the Heart/Emotion of Jeff Beck ! ANA POPOVIC IS TRULY A GUITAR MASTER !! , along with being an Excellent Vocalist & Songwriter. This is one of The Best Concerts I have EVER SEEN !! & I've seen Many !! (from AC/DC Aerosmoth, Blue Oyster Cult, Cheap Trick, Doobie Brothers, Heart, Queen, Kansas, Rush, Styx, Van Halen, Pantera, Queensryche, ZZ Top, Yes, Emerson, Lake & Palmer)....I'm just sad that it had to end ! I wish it could have gone on Forever !! I LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF IT !!
I have heard Ana Popovic in concert several times. She is an excellent guitar player and has great stage presence. Unfortunately, this time the sound mix at the Blue Note was so poor that it came close to ruining the concert. At first we could barely hear her vocals and guitar (she had to stop soon into her second song to request the person at the mixing board correct things). Things gradually got a bit better, but her vocals were rarely loud enough to understand her lyrics and her guitar was mostly buried in the mix, which certainly did no justice to her talent. As best I could tell, at least part of the problem was the bass was too loud and at times the keyboard was as well. I hope the Blue Note gets its act together before the upcoming Marcus King concert.
Sound was so bad the artist stopped the set to try and get it fixed. What is the point of seeing the headliner if you cant even hear her vocals and guitar? Worst show I have ever see at the blue note.
Love Ana's music, too bad we left after her second song due to the horrible sound system. She tried to correct it during her opening, but couldn't hear her - just drums and keyboard. Blue Note needs to get their act together.
Ana and her opener, Kat, were undeterred by 2/3 no-show audience due to the nasty weather in Fort Lauderdale. They showed their appreciation for the folks who braved the flooded streets to hear them. Great show.
Really enjoyed Anna and her opener, Kat. Was nearly sold out but due to really nasty weather most folks stayed away. Rather than bringing the performance down, Anna and Kat were appreciative of the hard cores who braved the floods to see their shows. I'll be looking for Kat locally and attending Anna's future shows in S FL.
Ana has been on the blues scene for 20 years and still plays with the same energy or passion, If you get the chance, catch her show when she comes to town. The integration of the brass in the band adds a superb balance to the sound.
She was Great.....Singing and she can play that guitar...she had everybody taping their feet and moving with the beat.
Ana Popovic is probably the best female guitar player in the world Some may match her but noones better!! Plays with passion and and is fast and furious Love her energy and her talents A must see show so that youll know!
You hear people say that she's a great female guitarist, but she ranks up there with the best of the guys, too. She mixes great musicianship, sexiness, and a fantastic band to put on a high energy, hard driving show that I will never miss when she comes around.
The venue is small and cozy. Easy access to the bar and restroom.
A wonderful performer, a very positive and well-versed woman. The opening act was not very good and the sound system was terrible. They were all very tired due to the massive rains in FT Lauderdale. Two of the members had to drive down from Tampa and she spent 3 hrs in an UBER lol. They did not do an encore but she did meet with fans afterward and took some selfies with them. She is an amazing guitarist and really gets the crowd going. Would love to see her again with better equipment and sound men. The rest of her band is highly talented and all of them could go solo. If you get a chance to see her do it you won't regret it.
Ana is incredibly talented and can play the guitar with the best. Her song writing is solid but not great. That leads to a performance that is enjoyable to watch but not extraordinary. I love her to death and will go see her the next time she comes in town cause the cost for the show is definitely worth it. Really good but not great…
