About

Field Medic on Tour

The habitual grittiness of lo-fi folk singer/songwriter Field Medic defines his tranquil sound. Born Kevin Patrick Sullivan, Field Medic is setting out on his fall 2022 tour, making 24 stops across the United States and Canada. His soft and subtle instrumentals accompanied by his heartfelt lyrics and soothing voice makes Field Medic a must-see for all of his fans. After seeing him live in concert, one fan wrote, "This concert was very special through how genuine of an energy Field Medic provided throughout the show." First emerging in 2013 with his self-released EP Crushed Pennies, Field Medic has continued to produce music for close to a decade. He released his next EP F*** You Grim Reaper in 2014, which was soon followed by his 2015 debut album light is gone. Field Medic signed with Run for Cover in 2017, after which he released his album Songs from the Sunroom. Along with a number of EPs, his music creation continued with fade into the dawn (2019) and Floral Prince (2020).

Field Medic Live in Concert

Based in San Francisco, Field Medic began his music career with his older brother Sean, forming Westwood & Willow in 2009. Soon after, Westwood & Willow met their drummer, Andrew Skewes-Cox, and they then formed a new group called Rin Tin Tiger in 2011. Sullivan decided to rebrand and go solo in 2013. Field Medic prefers to record his music at his house, leading his folk songs to attain their signature crackle and back-home feel. In 2017, Field Medic was featured on the charity album, Earth Day: A Tribute to Green Day, for which he recorded a cover of "2,000 Light Years Away." With more than 400,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, Field Medic is making huge waves among the indie-folk and alternative music crowd. His top songs "uuu," "POWERFUL LOVE" and "song I made up to stop myself from having a panic attack just now" have reached more than 20 million streams combined.
