American entertainer, choreographer, television personality, and drag performer Alyssa Edwards has hit the road for the Alyssa: Life, Love & Lashes Tour. Born Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson in Mesquite, Texas, Alyssa Edwards is the chosen stage name of the tv personality and drag performer. According to the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Wiki, Edwards is considered to be a Drag Race legend in the community, as one of the only queens to make an appearance on RuPaul's podcast "What's the Tee?" and coining iconic terms like "Rigga Morris" and "Backrolls." The stage name originated from Johnson's youth where he took a liking to Alyssa Milano from the television show "Who's the Boss." Johnson adopted the last name of his early mentor and drag mother, Laken Edwards. Away from the stage, Edwards is perhaps best known for being a small business owner and dance studio operator, running the famed Beyond Belief Dance Company in his hometown. The studio was featured on Netflix's original docuseries "Dancing Queen" (which features Edwards, who is also credited as a director of the show). Edwards is also known for his appearance on "The Bachelorette." Edwards' dance company also competed twice on "America's Got Talent" where the group reached the quarter finals of the competition both times.

The stories made you laugh, cry, and realize that you are not so different from where she came from. The stories were inspiring and uplifting. The performances were spectacular, anf the sets were stunning. If you get the chance to go, then you should. You will not regret a single second of the experience.

Staff were more than accommodating during the less than stellar weather, keeping patrons safe and accounted for before the show. Alyssa was a professional, world class performer. Style, charisma, grace, and elegance filled the room. My partner and I didn’t want the night to end!

Performers did a great job as well and Alyssa was extremely entertaining with her costumes and stories. I would highly recommend this show.

It got boring at times but when the music hit, the show did not disappoint! We wish there were more dance numbers. Overall, it was a nice show and we did laugh many times.

I expect nothing less from Alyssa Edwards. She was stunning as always. Love her attitude. The dancing was beautiful and fun. I wish the show never ended. I absolutely loved everything about it.

You get to know her in her show, in her dialogue, and I cried in one of her musical numbers, she is truly beautiful and inspirational. My son and I went together, it was his first drag show and he loved it!!! I am so glad we went. There was adult content, and the way Alyssa choreographed it OMG it was so good!! I will go to her show again when she returns!!!!! Alyssa we love you!
