American entertainer, choreographer, television personality, and drag performer Alyssa Edwards has hit the road for the Alyssa: Life, Love & Lashes Tour. Born Justin Dwayne Lee Johnson in Mesquite, Texas, Alyssa Edwards is the chosen stage name of the tv personality and drag performer. According to the "RuPaul's Drag Race" Wiki, Edwards is considered to be a Drag Race legend in the community, as one of the only queens to make an appearance on RuPaul's podcast "What's the Tee?" and coining iconic terms like "Rigga Morris" and "Backrolls." The stage name originated from Johnson's youth where he took a liking to Alyssa Milano from the television show "Who's the Boss." Johnson adopted the last name of his early mentor and drag mother, Laken Edwards. Away from the stage, Edwards is perhaps best known for being a small business owner and dance studio operator, running the famed Beyond Belief Dance Company in his hometown. The studio was featured on Netflix's original docuseries "Dancing Queen" (which features Edwards, who is also credited as a director of the show). Edwards is also known for his appearance on "The Bachelorette." Edwards' dance company also competed twice on "America's Got Talent" where the group reached the quarter finals of the competition both times.

On to Alyssa: This show was artistic, fluid, and hilariously funny. It has been a long time since we have enjoyed ourselves so much. We could listened to her all night, and then some more.

The show however dragged in the first half with over an hour of hearing about her sports try outs and mishaps. The second half stepped up and got some tea bout Drag Race. Would have loved to learn more about what she is doing now, who she is loving and what might be in the works. Overall, cut the first half down to 20 minutes, add in the Drag Race tea and make the second half about about you present day.

Truly, this show was beyond amazing. It was all so well put together. I would definitely go see her again. The only thing I would recommend is, maybe more selection as far as food goes. Other than that, 10/10 for me!

I met so many wonderful people while I was there. I was sitting close to the back, but Alyssa was still larger than life! I really enjoyed the first half of the show the most. Prepare to be entertained!
