As lifelong dancer, I wait each year to see what the AAADT will bring to the Fox Theater. From the classic Revelations to stunning new work by longtime company member Matthew Rushing, the performance was a sheer delight. I came away awed and inspired to keep dancing for my life!

The strength and flexibility of the male dancers was phonomenal. The movements were so precise and detailed. It was just breathe taking to watch this extraordinary dance theater perform.
The second and the third act were the best. The first act was not very impressive.

I have seen AAADT 3 times this was my favorite. I REALLY WISH THEY WOULD BRING BACK ULYSSES DOVES "Episodes" and "Vespers". I love those two. so much power and agility.
What can I tell you, if you missed it, you missed a wonderful show! I loved it as always. The dancers were spectacular!!!
This event was by far one of the BEST AADT programs I have attended. The first set "Uptown" was phenomenal and truly inspiring.

The Alvin Ailey Dance Theater is exceptional in so many ways. My daughter had asked to see the "So You Think You Can Dance" show for a couple of years now but I thought I'd take her to this show instead. She was blown away! The artistry and athleticism of the dancers are surpassed by none. I am a little perplexed as to why this program is not marketed to the white community almost at all.
The performance was varied and absolutely terrific. The dancers are incredible. This is a wonderful experience.
This was absolutely spectacular. It was amazing how well the dancers performed. I was just blown away by the beauty of it all. I had to take part in a much-deserved standing ovation.

I've seen this performance every few years since I was a child. Never disappoints.
I have seen Ailey many times. This was my first trip to a matinee. I am not sure if the least experienced dancers do the matinees but overall it was not the Ailey I am used to seeing. Particularly in the first number there was little enthusiasm, a lack of sharp movements and the timing was off. Perhaps they were having a rough day.
Great show, loved the encore at the end. Uptown/harlem scene/show was so much fun.
I have been following the Alvin Ailey Dance Theater since I was 12 years old and an aspiring young dancer. They're simply beautiful! They get better every year! You must experience Alvin Ailey before you can say you're a lover of the arts
This was a phenomenal show. Great for the family. My daughter attended with me (age 5) and thoroughly enjoyed.
