ALL THEM WITCHES IN CONCERT:

Heavy psych rockers All Them Witches have been conjuring a hypnotic blend of massive riffs, pummeling rhythms, and bluesy wails since they first threw down in 2012. Their concerts offer maximal volume to fans: bass, guitar, and keyboards blast fuzzy instrumental hooks over the pounding drums on favorites like "When God Comes Back," "Dirt Preachers," and "El Centro." When not lost in headbanging ecstasy, vocalist Charles Michael Parks, Jr. adds southern rock and proto-metal flourishes with his twangy vocals and twisted psychedelic lyrics. All Them Witches squeeze every ounce of shred out of their maniacal earworms and keep the jams going long so ticket buyers can get lost in this unforgettable and savage trip.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Charles Michael Parks, Jr. (vocals/bass) first met Robby Staebler (drums) in 2011 when the two were working together at a corporate chain store. Staebler shared some music that he'd been working on with Parks and Ben McLeod (guitar), and Parks thought a jam session was in order. They clicked instantly and decided to form All Them Witches, rounding out their lineup in 2012 with the addition of Allan Van Cleave (keyboards). Later that year the group released their debut album Our Mother Electricity, an auspicious effort that distilled their unique blend of psych rock, proto-metal, and blues. They then undertook a rigorous touring schedule and encouraged fans to exchange tapes of their marathon jams from night to night. Their unique approach to self-promotion caught the attention of doom metal quintet Windhand, who invited All Them Witches to open on their 2014 tour. Following incendiary sets at Bonnaroo and SXSW, the group signed with New West to release 2015's critically praised Dying Surfer Meets His Maker. All Them Witches continue to win over heavy music fans with their intrepid live jams, tireless touring, and prolific recorded output.

    Great show

by Gthayerdc on 12/11/21Paradise Rock Club presented by Citizens - Boston

All them witches are such a great combination of hard rock and about ten different genres of music. Going to their concert is a fantastic winding path of sonic beauty. Would happily go out of my way to see them. The paradise is a great intimate club that doesn’t have a bad spot to see.

ATW + (not) Red Fang Nashville

by Randolph on 11/3/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

The Good? First time at the Ryman, and it didn't disappoint. Great sightlines, good sound, good atmosphere. ATW was spectacular. I am a casual listener and first time seeing them live. Very tight, atmospheric, and mesmerizing. The Bad? NO RED FANG!!! I was and am extremely angry that I bought a ticket a day before the show and it said nothing about Red Fang not being on the bill any longer. Had I known, I would have had a chance to go to a different show that night (as a Nashville visitor). I'm giving a 3 only because ATW was great and it's not their fault Red Fang wasn't there.

ATW at the Ryman? Yep, it was awesome!

    by p. S. on 11/3/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

First of all, I was a little disappointed that ATW were playing the Ryman instead of their annual 2-3 days of shows at the Exit/In right after Christmas, but you've gotta admit, the Ryman is a great place to see a show! The opening band, the Songbirds were a 2 piece band who sounded a lot like ATW in style, very good. The band seemed to really enjoy the fact that they sold out the Ryman on their first show there and got choked up a little several times. Near the end, the crowd just cheered and they had to wait for us to quiet down before they could talk to us. Review the show... It was an All Them Witches show. My 6th. I like them a lot. They rocked and everyone there had a great time. I'm going to see them again next month 👍

    Mother Church

by Cartwright on 11/3/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

There are few live musical experiences like one at Ryman. Parking was conveniently close. Entry through both security & ticket scan was a breeze. The merchandise line however, was disappointing. Enough so that we were detoured from purchasing anything, though we truly wanted to. With that said, we were there for entertainment & we were not deprived of it. All Them Witches did not disappoint. They were tight, rehearsed, & their material speaks for itself. Elated we had the opportunity to see them perform at Ryman Auditorium. I would 100% see them there again.

    Best Show Yet

by Lauren on 11/3/21Ryman Auditorium - Nashville

Well worth the drive from SC. ATW was amazing as always. Between the concert, the venue, and the holiday, I think it was their best show yet. Can’t wait to see them next tour.

    Sound Mixing Was Pretty Bad

by Joshua on 10/26/21The Underground - Charlotte

The vocals were way to quiet. Couldn't hear or understand a single word of what was being sung. Not sure if the band set up their levels or the venue but whoever it was dropped the ball. They should have stopped after their first song and fixed the issue. It might as well been an instrumental concert. The only saving grace of that night was that the band that opened for them knocked it out of the park. The messenger birds were fantastic and I didn't even know they were going to be playing. I'd try another concert at a different venue just to see if the issue was vender specific.

    Killer Shows, Always

    by A. T. on 1/22/20

I've seen them two separate times (once in Columbus by accident, and then again in Cincinnati on purpose), and both times they were excellent. Fantastic musicians and great rock n' roll. Do it. Go see them.

    All them witches kicked ass

    by Robowen2112 on 11/10/17The Foundry - Philadelphia

If you have a chance to see all them witches, do It! This is my 4th time seeing them and they haven't disappointed yet. Their sound is great. They don't have the typical song structure (verse chorus verse). Their songs flow along with subtle changes that keep it interesting and fun. All 4 of the musicians are top notch. They are just a great band! See 'em!
