    Thumbs up/Thumbs down

by RaveDave60 on 3/15/23Sony Hall - New York

Thumbs up: Great to hear this music played live again (40+ years after I first heard it), and always great to see Adrian Belew play! Thumbs down: Venue was horrendously crowded (oversold?). Backing band was great but the music lacked energy overall.

    Remain In Light

by BCIRONMAIDEN on 3/13/23Sony Hall - New York

Great show and sound. Fantastic staff... however... the fact that VIP seats were far away vrom the stage and NOT in front was bit of nonsense. If i pay VIP prices, i want to be right up front and close... not off to the side or in the back... please correct this by putting VIP seating in front like you did for Blue Oyster Cult. Thank You.

    Great Music marred by OVERCROWDING

by Adrian Belew Fan on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Remain in Light with Jerry Harrison and Adrian Belew & Cool Cool Cool was sublime. I almost left the concert before it began, and several times during the performance, due overcrowding which felt unsafe. It affected my ability to dance or move or see. There should have been 1/4 fewer people in there. People were bumping into me and poking and stepping on my feet.

    Oversold

by Tank on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Concert was fabulous, music, exceptional, great to see Jerry Harrison with some of the music he helped create, and Adrian Belew with his amazing creative guitar playing, also re-creating some of the music that he was involved in recording. Only complaint was about the venue, Sony Hall was grossly oversold, not clear to me, how this could be considered safe.

Jerry Harrison-Adrian Belew “Remain in Light “

by Marv Foley on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Having missed Talking Heads playing Remain in Light at Radio City in fall 1980, it was great to get a second chance. The band was great. Faithful to the originals while putting their own stamp on it. Sony Hall was oversold which made me fearful as bodies crunched together. We had to make our way to the back and somewhat outside the room to feel safe.

    Smoking

by Brick on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Jerry and Adrian still have it. Cool Cool Cool was a tight back up back. Definitely don’t miss the creepy guy from Turkuaz.

    Best show in years!

by Larry on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

I haven't been wowwed by an opening act in a long time and Cool Cool Cool made me an immediate fan. The idea that they were also the band for Harrison and Belew just made them that more impressive. Both headliners seemed to be enjoying themselves and the sold out crowd was along for the ride from the first note. As for the venue, treat yourself, if and when in NYC, and see a show at Sony Hall

Relived the epic 80’s with two heroes. Hasn’t aged a minute. What a trip!
