    Electrifying

by Pimo on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Jerry and Adrian with the help of Cool,Cool, Cool blew the roof off. Nailing the core of “Remain in the Light” album and mixing in other classics- driving, searing funk Afro beats and a little King Crimson too. So good. I would go to see this show again and again and again.

    Remain In Light - Reborn

by NickkNYC on 3/12/23Sony Hall - New York

Adrian, as usual, was sensational. Cool, Cool, Cool were a phenomenal backing group. It was, quite simply, a religious experience. I'll tip my hat to David Byrne, Talking Heads, and the whole crew that made the original cuts and toured them as heard in "The Name of the Band Is". But from here on out, let Adrian choose the band and deliver the sermons.

    Great show but lousy venue.

by Tom K 3 on 9/20/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Adrian and the band were phenomenal but impossible to see due to the lack of slope in the Ludlow Garage seats. It’s a small place, so only the first few rows can see the stage, it’s like a concert in an airplane.

    Big Electric Cat!

by Jean on 8/23/22Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

The sound was amazing! Adrian never disappoints. All the songs were great but my favorite at the Egg that night were, “Men in Helicopters,” “Big Electric Cat,” “Young Lions,” and “Three of a Perfect Pair.” A gut wrenching call to action, uncontainable talent, primitive passion and love so strong it hurts. Aaaahhhh! What a set. So brave to perform on the same night as whatever drew 7,000 people to the arena next door. His loyal fans sincerely appreciated the intimate question and answer session.

    Cyborg or Master

by Rick on 8/22/22Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

Saw Belew play on August 12 and 19 and I was amazed as I expected to be. The guitar is simply and extension of Belew's body and what he can do with it is stunning. The Show on the 12th was not a Ticketmaster rip off but at a club in Woodstock NY. Tony Levin and his band Stickmen joined the Belew Power Trio with Trey Gunn also joining in. SUBLIME! Belew's positive approach to playing for the people in front of him on the 19th in Albany was impressive. Only 1/3 to 1/2 of the seats were filled but What. A. Show!

    Power Trio Ricks

by Dobie44 on 7/24/22Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

A great show for a packed Ludlow Garage. The power Trio flat out hammered every song. Adrian did a small acoustic set to boot. Over two full hours of entertainment from decades of past songs and newer material.

    Let down

by Radioheadcrazy on 10/7/19Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

This venue is less than desirable because of its layout and tight access to the bars. Adrian Belew is always on point but he seemed to only direct himself to the other half of the room most of the time. The bartenders were less than kind or gracious. My favorite part was the Radiohead music between sets. Opening act was talented but boring.

    Doesn't Get Any Better

by Badass Bass MoFo on 9/17/19Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

It's so rare when you can get to see a talent like that in a club with a few hundred people, sit in the second row and watch a career retrospective played so inspringly and with total energy...for 40 bucks. He's played with The Talking Heads, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Bowie, Solo, and more and had the wild abandon, humor and chops of a young performer at the top of his game. Can't say enough about this guy. GO next time.

I Wish You Were Here to See It!

    by M. C. on 9/17/19Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

Adrian Belew is one of the most underrated guitarists on the planet. His resume speaks for itself, and he has consistently been putting out incredible music as a solo artist for decades. He's amazing, and I've now seen him solo a couple of times. He has a killer band, which is good, because without excellent musicians, the complex, sonic soundscapes he's able to generate would not be the same. I loved the set list, which covered not only several old and new Belew solo tunes, but also some trips down memory lane with King Crimson and the Bears covers. Adrian really seems to dig playing live, and I highly highly highly recommend that those who love guitar prowess, virtuosity and pyrotechnics check him out.

    Over-The-Top

by Swami on 9/17/19Teragram Ballroom - Los Angeles

I've known Adrian Belew's music for quite a while. The Teragram show may have been my 6th Belew performance. He is always excellent! The Teragram itself is a great space. Easy parking directly across the street. The Teragram is my new favorite spot.

    ProgRock Legend!

by P. H. on 5/3/19Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

It was great to see & hear live an ex-member of the legendary progressive rock band King Crimson and his new band, which includes a female bass-guitar player! All are awesome, the set-list was about half & half his solo work and the old Crimson cuts, from the days he was in the band. I plan to catch him again on the summer tour!

    Sheer Belewness

by KG on 4/23/19Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

I have seen Adrian many times now. This was his best tour so far that I have witnessed. It was a show that encompassed his entire career as a musician. The quartet of players make him able to do more songs than he could with the power trio. I love Julie Slick btw she is an awesome bass player. Do not miss if you like Belew/King Crimson.

    OMG!

by M Lo on 4/23/19Hart Theatre at the Egg - Albany

Even though I've see Adrian several times this was the most exciting and memorable show ever. Besides being one of my few guitar heroes still alive, he's simply a genuinely great person. I was able to meet him and got several items signed and an awesome selfie with him! I'd travel far to see him again and so should you!
