A Christmas Carol Tickets

The sets were FANTASTIC. The actors were delightful (particularly Scrooge) and the transitions from set to set/scene to scene were extremely well executed. The first half, however (before the intermission) really seemed to drag on. It felt like a disproportionate part of the play was stacked into the first hour and the second hour felt rushed. Also, the background "wind" was annoying as it never stopped even though we were indoors for those scenes. Overall it was delightful and the complaints above still leave me with a 4.5/5 score.

A talented energetic Cast! A Marvelous stage show! The proof came from the faces of my 7 & 9 year old boys which said it all! Their eyes locked in... with complete captivation! Thank you for a Great Show!

The men, women and children provided a wonderful experience for my family. Great performances by all of the participants. Scrooge was flawlessly portrayed. Enjoyed the music and holiday sing. Made for a perfect holiday season. I can't wait to go again next year.

They really did an excellent job. I was always a huge fan of the production.

We got there 30 minutes early and already members of the cast were stood on stage singing christmas carols, that alone was worth the price of admission. We have seen Christmas Carol at other larger theaters with professional production, however this version was the best I have ever seen with the best set and effects I have ever seen. Great show, go and see it. Note: the set is on two levels with the scrooge bedroom at a higher level. Unfortunately there is a low parapet wall at the front right of that upper set. If you sit to the right of the middle nearer the front of the theatre your view of the scrooge bed where some acts take place will be completely blocked. This low parapet wall is not needed, does not add anything and should be removed from the set.

My husband and I loved this play. The acting was very professional. The set was beautiful. We will return next year and bring along friends!

The actors and actresses did a phenomenal job. We also enjoyed the Christmas Carols before the performance. This was our second time seeing this performance and we plan on going every year. We would suggest you cut back on the smoke effect that covers the floor. Several couples in the front left and never came back.

Went with friends, two who had never been to a broadway show. We all thought the show was awesome.

Wonderful afternoon show at the beautiful Ohio Theatre enjoyed with family to celebrate the holiday season!

This was a wonderful show! The sets & costumes were beautiful and the actors were absolutely wonderful. We sat in the Loge and the price was very reasonable! Nice way to kick off the Holiday Season!!! 🎄

My Husband and I attend A Christmas Carol every year. It has become a Christmas tradition we look forward to. Last year was beyond incredible. It was the best we have ever seen. This year things were changed in the play. We liked past ones better. Still we enjoyed seeing it.

I loved every moment, it is beautiful! The acting is stellar and imagery amazing!

It's been probably 35 years since the last time I visited the Ohio Theater to see The Christmas Carol and I'm happy to see that it is still an excellent performance. My 10 year old son enjoyed it as well.

We have seen A Christmas Carol at MBT many times but this years performance may have been the best! The play is enjoyed by all age groups-we really enjoyed the dancing too! Scrooge performance was excellent! Go see it!!

Very Beautiful and clean theater, but show was a little dull. Kids became bored very quickly. Show was not as lively as expected and as seen in prior years.

This play did a good job of incorporating traditional Christmas songs into the action which was a nice touch. Sets and costumes were great. The actors had nice voices and showed great versatility as many of them played multiple roles. Very fun family outing.

The show was excellent! My favorite Christmas story and they exceeded my expectation. Show was kid friendly.

From the moment the curtain opened this performance was spectacular. Each performer played a phenomenal role. Such talent on that stage. Ohio Theatre is gorgeous, as well. The performance got me into the Christmas Spirit!

I love the story of the Christmas Carol and this lived up to my expectations. I laughed, almost cried, and wished I could see it again closer than I was. I recommend seeing this and enjoying the Christmas spirits.
