A 90-minute monologue - never thought it would be as amazing as it was. Chazz is phenomenal to drive such an engrossing story, he kept us focused the entire time. High points, exciting points, funny points, low points. And being from the Bronx made it all the more fascinating. We truly enjoyed it.
The performance was excellent. Chazz did an outstanding job intermingling seriousness with comedy. It was a very enjoyable night. Would definitely recommend seeing this show.
Chazz was great. Loved the movie but seeing him do a play by play non stop was awesome.
Chazz is a excellent storyteller. He was humorous, passionate and sensitive. I can see why Robert DeNiro made it into a screenplay. I just wished that the sound quality was better at the Lyric.
I have attended many musicals, and many varied theatre productions, I have never had to write or say anything negative about any of them. I found ABT to be boring, dull, and very disappointing. Mr. "P" was excellent in the movie, but left a lot to be desired in this one man show. My date fell asleep twice, but did say that since he is from an "old country" Italian family, he could identify with the storyline. The idle drone of Mr. "P's" delivery was next to unbearable. I like him as an actor, but not as a one man show.
I was not real excited about seeing a one man show. I was absolutely amazed and surprised at how fantastic Chaz is as a performer. The show was fantastic. I was sorry it ended. I could have listened to Chaz perform for hours. He's so awesome. Of course I had dinner before at Chaz's restaurant. I wanted an evening of nothing but Chaz and he did not disappoint. The chicken parm was the best I ever had and Chaz is one of the best actors I've had the pleasure of seeing in person.
The show was great!!!....it followed the movie very closely....recommend you see the movie before seeing the show...I will see theshow again when it returns to Baltimore!!!

Chazz is the ultimate--writer, perfomer, supreme talent. I saw the movie A BRONX TALE when I was in college (22 years ago) and two summers ago saw the one-man stage production in Atlantic City with my dad, a first generation Italian-American. On Saturday, I saw the live performance with my 15 year old daughter. WE BOTH LOVED EVERY MINUTE!!! I don't know how Chazz keeps it fresh after so many performances, but he does. Excellent, excellent, excellent. One thing: we sat in the orchestra and for the first few sentences, the sound wasn't great, but the sound guy adjusted and fixed it quickly so that it was great the rest of the show. (I asked--the Lyric uses their own sound guy, so it was not Chazz's people.) Also, we got to meet Chazz afterward--he is gorgeous and very nice. We went to his restaurant after the show and saw him there, too! FUN!
I would highly recommend you see this! I was truly amazed that one person could clearly tell the story. A Bronx Tale is my husbands favorite movie, took him to see this for his B-Day. He absolutely loved it as well.
You could never guess a one man show would be so good! What a performer!!! Do not miss this!

I saw this on Broadway in 2008 and loved it. Both my sons love the movie and were dying to see this. When I saw Chazz would be at the Paramount I purchased the tickets right away and told some other family members who joined us. My boys were thrilled and my husband and I love it as well. What a great venue, what a great performance.
Show was incredible! Such talent! Venue was not conducive to the volume of monologue. Chazz was very difficult to hear without background noise and impossible to hear once music and sound effects were added.
Exceeded my expectations!!!! Almost better than the movie!!!!!
If you have the chance you MUST see this show. second time for us, brought friends and they were just blown away! All we can say is go, go, go!

Couldn't figure out how Chazz would pull this off by doing it as a one man show. He did and it was amazing! I would recommend this show to everyone!
