The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Awesome show. We were three rows behind the announcer’s table and there was great interaction with most of the wrestlers.
Wwe never drops the ball!! Awesome stuff and will be going again!
We sat in Section 114, row F, seats 1 & 2. We were right on the rail with no one in front of us, which was fantastic, and we could easily see the actors come out on stage and down the ramp. My issue was that there was a ring post right in our view so if anything was going on in the middle of the ring, we couldn't see it. Plus the camera crane kept moving right in front of us as well. If we were 1 section over, I would have given the event 5 stars, but the setup of where we were was not ideal for the price and view I figured we'd be getting. All in all, it was a great event, I just wish that the ring post was not the main focal point when looking at the matches.
Me and my daughter had a great time at the event the crowd was great and the show was fantastic bring it back
Second time trying to take kids to a WWE event and it’s disappointing not worth the money. Not a lot of matches and wrestlers. 1st time seats were bad. This time they were better. Just sad how much you pay and kids don’t get a good experience
I attended WWE Smackdown 4/19/24. I have 0 complaints about the show however, some areas do need better organized. The line for check bags needs to be highlighted better. While my party didn’t have a bag, the group in front of us did. They allegedly waited 30 minutes before being told to get in the “bag line,” which turned out not to be the line with the Xray. There should be a better way to indict it a the FNB gate besides being told by an usher. That line ended up being massively shorter than the rest, and we were told to go through it. Checking in was a breeze. The Merch table also needs organized better. I understand it’s a key part of the experience, but to wait in line for 30 minutes with an obstructed view is the available merch only to be rushed when you finally got up left a sour taste. Perhaps if there’s going to be a roped off line there needs to be added images of what’s on display. All in on all, it was great but those areas just need worked on. The PPG staff was friendly and helpful.
Everything went well. Everything was easy to find. Staff was friendly.
I always love going back to WWE shows and they killed with this week’s SmackDown. Great storytelling and great matches. Looking forward to going another one very soon.
So fun so. awesome! Always a great show! Will never disappoint :)
When the tickets were originally purchased we didn’t see any notification that they were restricted views. The show was still good besides the spotlight that is shined directly into the section. If you’re getting seats spend the extra money for the lower bowl, legs cramped up after 2hrs in tight seats.
I’ve been a fan of wrestling for as long as I can remember. Getting to be a part of the live action and seeing how all the magic happens for the live television aspect of it was something I’ll cherish forever. The energy was electric with 15,000 fans in attendance. It’s a memory that myself and my 6 year old son shared and I will never forget it. Thank you WWE 👏👏
First WWE event. Wrestlemania was amazing! Best purchase ever!
wonderful, the show was here and special mention to the amazing entrance of Sami Zayn in his hometown of Montreal and yeet!
It was an amazing experience! Everything was perfect! Would definitely recommend!
The show itself was awesome! 15000 people makes for a lively crowd like it always is in Montreal. Bell center is always up to par. Concessions everywhere, plenty of bathrooms. Only small down part is the lineups to buy shirts and souvenirs…not enough vendors so the wait is a little ugly but other than that, it was great!
Essu instructions to enter fast with the transfer of the tickets on wallet. Loved the show it was the best
This is just a quick review to say my trip to Wrestlemania 40 was absolutely amazing and a once in a lifetime experience. My only hope is that one day the WWE will sell their tickets directly from source so we can all avoid the absolute ROBBERY that is ticketmaster service charges when purchasing tickets.
What an experience, 4 rows from the ring, within camera view. Seen my favourite wrestler of all time, Triple H. Can’t wait until I can go again.
Was a great time . I took a friend who has never been and he had a blast . I go every chance I get . Never a let down .
Fun night. Always amazing watching Raw live! Fireworks, mic , wrestling , special appearances. Everything was top. Well done.
