The WWE is the world's largest wrestling promotion corporation. Founded by Jess McMahon and Toots Mondt in 1953 as Capitol Wrestling Corporation, the organization now hosts more than 500 events per year across the globe. In 1982, McMahon’s grandson Vincent K. McMahon bought Capitol Wrestling and was fundamental to turning the WWE into a widespread and enduring sports entertainment product.
Initially, McMahon built up the WWE roster with future superstars such as Hulk Hogan, Roddy Piper and Jesse Ventura and launched the organization’s annual marquee event, WrestleMania, in 1985. Over the years, WrestleMania has offered plenty of unforgettable moments like the Hulk Hogan-André the Giant championship match in 1987, the generation-shifting face-off between Bret Hart and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin in 1997 and The Undertaker’s 21-year winning streak at the event. The WWE will celebrate the 40th annual WrestleMania in 2024.
By the late ’80s and early ’90s, there was a full roster of hardcore brawlers, including Shawn Michaels, Hart, Ric Flair and "Macho Man" Randy Savage, who were later joined by a new crop of “Attitude Era” stars such as Steve Austin, The Rock, Triple H and Mankind as the organization grew into a touring juggernaut. Another infusion of talent joined the WWE during the late aughts and early ’10s, including John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sasha Banks, Charlotte Flair, CM Punk, Brock Lesnar, Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey.
The WWE continued to reinvent itself as it created the separate Raw and SmackDown brands in 2002, launched various offshoot brands including the ECW and WWE NXT and introduced a 24/7 streaming network in 2014. The companies behind the WWE and mixed-martial arts promoter Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) merged into TKO Group Holdings in 2023.

Great show from start to finish. Action packed and didn't mis a beat!
I bought these tickets for my sons 12th birthday. They were right beside the ramp where the wrestlers came out. Dean Ambrose took his shirt off and gave it to my son and wished him a happy birthday. This was by far his best birthday ever!!!
Great event, and the wrestlers didn't hold back even though the event wasn't televised. All the big time wrestlers from Smackdown were there.
I look forward to this event every year!!! Its my second favorite night of the year only behind Mania itself!!!
Fantastic night. Venue was easy to find, parking was plenty. I will most certainly be going again if WWE ever come back to our area! First time I have been to a RAW show.. and I loved it. Well worth the money!
I attended the WWE event for part of a birthday gift for one of my kids. We had floor seats but once the audience was standing and cheering we couldn't see anything. There was so many parts we missed when I watched it on television after being at the event. We paid a lot of money for 4 floor seats to not even see the event unless someone was jumping in the air!
Live television shows are definitely the way to go
My family and I had the best time!! It was a great show!
There's really nothing I can say that was bad. Whole event was phenomenal.
I really enjoyed the show, however, there should have been a jumbo tron showing what was happening because we couldn't see very well.
Aside from cramped seating and one particularly rude security officer, this event was absolutely amazing. The Smackdown roster did a teriffic job interacting with fans and there was never a dull moment. The crowd really got into it too! ALL my favorite wrestlers won their matches. My favorite moments were a tie between Randy Orton nailing Kevin Owens with the RKO to win and Luke Harper's comedic antics against Aiden English. I also came home as an AJ Styles fan again. I really can't wait until my next WWE Live event.
Was my first live show. Would definitely go again.
Had a great time at Monday Night RAW! A quality show considering they rarely do television in Evansville these days, but the crowd was great and the show warranted such!
My son & I really enjoyed the show. It was fun filled & all of the wrestlers put on a good show. The main event was really exciting!!!
It was awesome great time better than expected a must see
venue and show is great! Will come again. Thank you!
I really enjoyed the event it was the best thing I ever seen in my life!!
the arena was small enough that anywyhere u sat u could see the full action the security were helpful with showing people to there seats the action was phenomenal definitely would go to another event in this or like arena ember moon and ruby riot teaming up as well as the asuka vs nikki cross match and the main event rodrick strong and alestair black vs glorious bobby roode and cien almas was explosive
I love the house shoes! The wrestlers seem like they don't take it so serious and have more fun. Everything the WWE is top of the line awesome. The BOS Center (former Prairie Capital Convention Center) on the other hand leaves a lot to be desired. The security that works for the area is non existent.
The show was amazing - a great experience overall.
