Eugene O'Neill Theatre
Live on Broadway, the New York Times calls it "the best musical of the century." The Washington Post says, "It is the kind of evening that restores your faith in musicals." And Entertainment Weekly says, "Grade A: the funniest musical of all time." Jimmy Fallon of The Tonight Show calls it "Genius. Brilliant. Phenomenal." It's The Book of Mormon, the nine-time Tony Award®-winning Best Musical. See it on Broadway today!
Funny and witty, did not disappoint! The cast was fantastic, I highly recommend this play!
This is the 4th time I've seen BOM and it's still hilarious. The acting is great, the music is great and the tap dancing during "Turn it off" is great. Highly recommend the show
Third time seeing this. Numbers are well done, but however are becoming dated. First time viewer will still love it.
I was offended for the content ( and I’m not Mormon)I am not even highly religious- but I found it offensive and a waste of my money - left at the first intermission ! Also the theater is uncomfortable for me -5ft 6 inches! I should have gone to see Tina Turner-I’m sure it would have been more entertaining!
Would have been nice to have a photo op or cast meet n greet, but the show itself was AMAZING!! If your looking for an entertaining night....go see this show, it’s a MUST!!!
Very enjoyable performance. Fantastic acting and singing
A great show!! The performers were amazing! Great theater very small and intimate. Not a bad seat in the house! Wonderful experience!
Recently my wife and I attended Book of Mormon in NYC. We loved the musical (5 STARS) but the seats in this theater (1 STAR) are uncomfortably small. I'm 6'1" and could not sit in the seat without my knees hitting the back of the chair in front of me or the person sitting in it. I eventually had to stand on the end of the aisle. Everyone in our aisle was complaining about the same thing. This is a very funny musical with great singers but I'd wait to see it on the road in a better venue if I had to do it again. The lack of space in the seat(s) took away from what should have been a great evening.
I was looking forward to this show as I knew it was supposed to be funny, but it was well beyond my expectations and was the most hilarious thing I am have ever seen. The cast was stellar and the content was over the top satirical in the best way possible. I would have went back and watched it again the same day.
The show was delightfully entertaining. Oozing with satire and great talent. I loved every minute of it!
I had high expectations on The Book of Mormon since friends told me they liked a lot. I was a bit disappointed. Some of the jokes/ comedy were extremely heavy and therefore not funny at all or even things we should be laughing about. I think it went over the edge
Really was not entertained by this show at all. Volume was too high. Couldn’t clearly make out some words actors were saying. People told us we would be laughing the whole 2.5 hrs . I think we laughed 4xs in 2.5 hrs. 2 thumbs down for sure
We absolutely loved the Book of Mormons. The music was outstanding and the show was fantastic. Its not a show to take the littles though
Yes, I couldn't fight the grin on my face from the moment the curtain raised. I believe this is the best comedy musical running.
Very entertaining. A bit risqué at times, but always fun. Singing was great and story line was laugh out loud funny at times. Loved it!
The show was hilarious, the tickets were at a fair price, and the seats were fantastic, will buy again!
Loved it. Was way too funny. The cast were terrific and very talented.
I found the show funny and entertaining. A most enjoyable evening in the theater. Not for prudes or the closed minded who might be offended and miss the humor.
This was one of the best experiences I had while in NYC. This show was top notch and totally hilarious. I am a huge Trey Parker and Matt Stone fan and this HAS to be some of their best work EVER. I'd pay to see it again!
The show was brilliant, so funny. Definitely not for children! If you have a good sense of humour, if you like South Park and aren't easily offended you will love it. There were some people on the row in front who left at the interval. I can only assume they didn't like it or they were offended. My only complaint was about the seats in the theatre, I appreciate they are old and can't really do anything about it. But me and my husband are both tall and found it quite uncomfortable.
