The Beach Boys Concert Schedule

As vanguards of the California surf rock sound belting out beach-themed, summertime lyrics backed by harmonized vocals, the Beach Boys personify surf culture, popularizing it worldwide. This garbage band-turned-pop legends are influences for derivative rock music, such as punk rock and garage rock, and musical artists and groups, including Paul McCartney and R.E.M. The Beach Boys North American tour of 2017-2018 features music from the group's compilation album, 1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow, which was released in June 2017. This album includes unreleased songs and live recordings, including "Wild Honey" and "California"-- a Billboard chart-topping rock 'n' roll hit. Expect to hear other tour music from this musical group's other popular albums, including Pet Sounds, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), Surfin' U.S.A. , and All Summer Long. Some of the group's previous tours are the 2012 50th Reunion Tour, and 2016 Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour. The Beach Boys live concert experience involves listening to the glossy vocal harmonizing in the signature California rock tunes the group is known for alongside a live band playing the relaxing, psychedelic sounds from hits such as "Surfin' U.S.A." and "Barbara Ann." The Beach Boys' accolades stretch decades, including multiple Grammy Award nominations for "Good Vibrations" in 1967, a 1989 Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Kokomo," a 2001 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and Hall of Fame inductions in 1994 for "Good Vibrations" and in 2017 for "I Get Around." Check out The Beach Boys concert tour dates to see this classic American rock 'n' roll group live.

The Beach Boys Background

Hailing from the Southern California city of Hawthorne, The Beach Boys got their start in the early 1960s as teens in a garage band when the founders and original members, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, began singing psychedelic tunes encouraged by the Wilson brothers' parents to perform music. The Beach Boys draw their cultural and musical influences from their Southern California teen beach life and R&B and rock 'n' roll legends, including Chuck Berry and Johnny Otis. Later joined by members David Marks and Bruce Johnston, The Beach Boys continued to influence the public sphere as innovators of the California rock music genre.

    3 generations

Took my 80 year old mom to this, and she loved it - especially the movies they play on the big screen. My 11 and 13 year olds also loved it. What's not to love about the Beach Boys? Great concert and the Amp does an exceptional job moving people with the free shuttles. Wine is overpriced tho. $15 for a glass of wine? Come on.

    Nostalgic

by Mmikell on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

The Beach Boys was one of the best concerts that I have attended. I never expected that kind of energy from the band! It was so nostalgic watching them perform. The St. Augustine Ampitheater is my favorite venue to see a concert, and I love the vibe at this location. I would highly recommend everyone seeing the Beach Boys in concert if you get the chance. It was the best!

Extremely fun music to sing along too.

by Mike on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

A lot of people were skeptical of how they would sound being that some of the original members are in their 80s and high 70s. But I'm telling you right now they sounded extremely good. Especially when they sang "good vibrations"

    Good Vibrations

by FriedPeachPie on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

From the parking lot to our seats, the concert and back to the parking lot, it was all a great experience! We purchased seats in the pit and are so glad we did since it not only gave us a great view, but also was a much more convenient exit at the end of the concert. Even the bathrooms were more convenient from the pit area. To say that we enjoyed the Beach Boys would be an understatement. To see Mike Love at 82 do a whole concert with only a small break was inspiring. To anyone considering this concert, you just have to go!

Too many people in the band

by DabKen on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

You don’t need 9 people to recreate the original Beach Boys sound that was done with 5. Too many instruments playing, the mixing techs got it all wrong. At times you could hardly hear the vocals because the instruments were way too loud. The Beach Boys were known for their harmonizing & vocals. Get back to that, drop some of the extra guitars

    The "insane"drummer!

by Raafb on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

The Beach Boys concert in St. Augustine, on Sat. Mar 2, 24, was wonderfully nostalgic and took us back to better, more innocent times. I have been to 4 concerts now, the first in 1969, the night the men landed on the moon. This latest concert was awesome because of the New drummer, Jon Bolton; he was insanely good, and spent almost three straight hours mesmerizing the fans with his artistry. He added an excitement that I did not see 2 years ago in Saratoga NY. As for the concert as a whole, the video accompanying California Girls brought me to tears, along with God Only Knows, for my once young life. I've seen The Beatles, The Stones, and The Bee Gees, and the Beach Boys bring me to tears; I waver between 13 and 73. The voices and harmonies, although not from the originals, allow me to revisit my youth. Thank you, Mike Love!

Great music. The graphics that went along with the music reminded me of my youth, the cars, the beach and my friends.

    Awesome Beach Boy Performance

by retired09 on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

The entire evening was Beach Boys. They played 2 sets with a 20 minute intermission. The video backdrop was great in providing words (like you didn't already know them) and old footage from the past. The standouts were the falsetto singer Eichenberger and the drummer Jon Bolton. Mike Love was as always a performer and original member. Christian Love also did an outstanding job.

Still Fab After All These Years

by Roberta on 3/5/24The St. Augustine Amphitheatre - St Augustine

The Beach Boys were a little before my time but my brother was really into them, so I knew them well. Seeing Mike Love was so exciting, and the fact that his son is in the band was a bonus. And while most of the other musicians are not original to the band, they were fabulous! It was like we were in the 60s all over again. What a great night!
