The Beach Boys Concert Schedule
As vanguards of the California surf rock sound belting out beach-themed, summertime lyrics backed by harmonized vocals, the Beach Boys personify surf culture, popularizing it worldwide. This garbage band-turned-pop legends are influences for derivative rock music, such as punk rock and garage rock, and musical artists and groups, including Paul McCartney and R.E.M. The Beach Boys North American tour of 2017-2018 features music from the group's compilation album, 1967 - Sunshine Tomorrow, which was released in June 2017. This album includes unreleased songs and live recordings, including "Wild Honey" and "California"-- a Billboard chart-topping rock 'n' roll hit. Expect to hear other tour music from this musical group's other popular albums, including Pet Sounds, Summer Days (And Summer Nights!!), Surfin' U.S.A. , and All Summer Long. Some of the group's previous tours are the 2012 50th Reunion Tour, and 2016 Pet Sounds 50th Anniversary World Tour. The Beach Boys live concert experience involves listening to the glossy vocal harmonizing in the signature California rock tunes the group is known for alongside a live band playing the relaxing, psychedelic sounds from hits such as "Surfin' U.S.A." and "Barbara Ann." The Beach Boys' accolades stretch decades, including multiple Grammy Award nominations for "Good Vibrations" in 1967, a 1989 Grammy Award nomination for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals for "Kokomo," a 2001 Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, and Hall of Fame inductions in 1994 for "Good Vibrations" and in 2017 for "I Get Around." Check out The Beach Boys concert tour dates to see this classic American rock 'n' roll group live.
The Beach Boys Background
Hailing from the Southern California city of Hawthorne, The Beach Boys got their start in the early 1960s as teens in a garage band when the founders and original members, Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, Mike Love, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, began singing psychedelic tunes encouraged by the Wilson brothers' parents to perform music. The Beach Boys draw their cultural and musical influences from their Southern California teen beach life and R&B and rock 'n' roll legends, including Chuck Berry and Johnny Otis. Later joined by members David Marks and Bruce Johnston, The Beach Boys continued to influence the public sphere as innovators of the California rock music genre.
One of the best shows I’ve seen, amazing musicians, just so incredibly impressed, and anytime they are back in town me and my boyfriend will be there.
It was a terrible concert. Singing off key, instruments not in sync, etc…we left at intermission
Prior to this tour I had seen the Beach Boys twice. Both of those times had more than one person singing and multiple horns. People could actually hear people singing the words. This show had 4 electric guitars, one person singing, and a drummer who thought he was part of a heavy metal band. All of that combined to make it so that during the 20 minute intermission everywhere I turned had people commenting that they couldn't believe how downhill the group had gone and that if Mike Love things he needs to have 4 electric guitars and a heavy metal guitar player to make up for the singing then he shouldn't tour.
I had a good time at the concert. They played many of their hits.
Drummer Jon Bolton alone was worth the price of admission. His showmanship was fantastic. And he could sing, too!! He stole the show! But biggest surprise was the band’s fabulous singing, which is the hardest part for a 60 year old band to recreate, especially the singing of Brian Eichelberger. The band’s harmonies were spot on, but Brian Eichelberger’s singing, primarily his falsetto, was as good as Brain Wilson’s.
The Beach Boys concert at the Hard Rock was simply amazing, two hours of rock and roll with 9 outstanding and accomplished musicians. The Drummer John Bolton is by far one of the best drummers I have ever seen. I wish however that the Mile Love would have taken the time to say more about the band. The Beach Boys have so much history !
They still sound good and played all the hits happy I went to the show at Guitar Hotel
Despite the fact that there were only two of the original beach boys, it was a great night. The band was fantastic. Nostalgia evening. Their music brings back such happy memories.
A fabulous evening of BEACH BOYS. We all rocked out to their music ! They were fantastic! A stroll down memory lane. And best of all they sang my song . HELP ME RHONDA.. An amazing birthday celebration!!
So happy we were able to see them… although some members of the group have passed the new members were n the older were fantastic. Purchasing tickets thru Ticketmaster was very easy.
My Wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the BBs evening performance in Saint Augustine, Florida on 3/2/2024. Although we always appreciated the skills of John Cowsill and have followed him for years with the BBs, the new drummer, JON BOLTON, is OUTSTANDING and brings NEW LIFE to their concerts. We always enjoy the colorful graphics and slideshow that runs directly behind the band as they entertain the audience...very nostalgic. Thanks to Ticketmaster and the Saint Augustine Amphitheater for coordinating an exceptional appearance...WE LOVE THE BEACH BOYS !!!
Concert was great The Beach Boys put on a great performance. Had a great time.
BEAUTIFUL EVENING reliving the 60 and 70s music...band was outstanding and fun
Great concert at The Amp! 2 grandson (12, 15) our son (51) and us Grands (71, 73) enjoyed the entire show. Three generations and all loved the show.
The VIP parking was great. The seating was wonderful. The acoustics are great and the show was the best
My 3rd Beach Boys Concert in 25 years. They have never disappointed. If anything the addition of Jon Bolton (Drums) has kicked it up another notch.
The Beach Boys were GREAT, and the new guys have done a really good job with the old style and harmony. The 2 original members were excited, sounded wonderful and they played so many of their songs - with everyone singing along! They just don't make music like that anymore and we had a super experience!
Amphitheatre in St Augustine was a great venue for a great show. Hard to believe 2 80 plus guys could still preform that way. Overall the show was amazing.
Our seats were great, crowd was really involved. And the band was amazing. Brought tears to my eyes. They were having so much fun I wanted to leave with them.
Saw the Beach Boys last year and this year's version is better. Their new drummer is phenomenal and the harmony was much improved. They played about 35 songs and the venue was electric. Highly recommend seeing them while you still have the chance!
