REO Speedwagon are one of the definitive American arena rock bands to emerge in the ’70s, selling over 40 million records worldwide across 16 studio albums. Formed in 1967, the band’s 1978 album You Can Tune a Piano, but You Can't Tuna Fish launched a streak of nine consecutive albums earning an RIAA Platinum certification or higher, but REO reached truly rarified air with their Diamond-certified 1980 album, Hi Infidelity, which spent 15 weeks atop the Billboard 200. Hi Infidelity hosted the band’s first Hot 100 No. 1 single "Keep On Loving You" as well as its Top 5 follow-up "Take It On the Run," and the band would top the chart again with “Can't Fight This Feeling” from 1984’s Wheels Are Turnin’. REO Speedwagon have remained a touring force, organizing several co-headlining treks with genre heavyweights Styx, Chicago and Def Leppard. In 2022 alone, the REO and Styx joint tour earned $25 million. As of 2024, REO Speedwagon is made up of lead vocalist Kevin Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall, Dave Amato, Bryan Hitt, Derek Hilland, and Matt Bissonette.

Our first visit to Hertz Arena. Plenty of parking and a smaller venue. Every seat is a good one. Bring your ear plugs as the music is loud.
Both bands were great! They rocked the house! So glad I saw both bands!
Cheap Trick Hassan the crowd rocking and dancing. REO came out with two hits to begin and then performed unknown songs. The crowd was about half by the end of the set! Why would a band play side B songs. Waste of Time, should have left after Cheap Trick.
I have followed REO all over the place for the last 40 years. I can honestly say that they sounded amazing! Kevin’s voice was spot on and the harmonizing between the band was great. They played a few different songs than they normally do and it was refreshing. Kevin, Dave and Bryan just get better with age! The new keyboard player and stand in base player were flawless and fit right in. Phenomenal show!
Cheap Trick and REO awesome as Always. We will always go when we can…
Fantastic concert! Highly recommend! Get your seats early if they're coming to your town!
Great venue and outstanding concert! Staff were polite and friendly. Good security. Clean facilities.
Great show great venue. Classic songs all the best
I think the concert in general was great. However, I wish REO played 'more' verses talking in between EVERY song. They also played most of thier songs that not many really listened to first. I think they did this on purpose because had they played thier songs that most were familiar first and played that other stuff, a lot of people would have left. just my opinion, and Cheap trick had a better light show!
What a show and what a double bill. Cheap Trick still kicks ass and REO never disappoints
I am a huge fan of REO Speedwagon, but my first time seeing them live was on April 6th of this year. Unbelievably fantastic show! I have been to many concerts, and this one is up there in the top 5. The group sounded just like their albums, and even better! I would definitely see them again if given the chance.
With all the videos out there showcasing the decline of classic rock band singers, you may be hesitant to spend your money on REO Speedwagon. I can assure you, it’s money well spent. We started out with Cheap Trick who absolutely decent, but REO was freaking amazing. I swear they sound just the same! The quality of the musicianship was top notch and Kevin Cronin sounded fantastic! When he said he was 72, you would have never known it. We were so glad we went. One of the best shows I’ve seen.
REO put on a great show but the sound quality wasn’t the best!
My first concert was 40 years ago it was reo and cheap trick and 40 years later I saw then again
Kevin Cronin and the rest were absolutely fantastic as was Cheap Trick ! The still have their golden voices and energy ! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute !
They still sound really good song choice was ok. I was hoping for a few more popular songs mixed in there.
Both bands were great and the sound system should have matched them. However, the volume was way too high and the bass was also way to powerful. This is my third concert at Hertz Arena and all three have suffered from poor sound systems.
Kevin Cronin was full of energy and rocking the house like he did 45 years ago! Bring them back to SWF!
Absolutely amazing show. Played all my favorites!
Was a really great concert!! REO is one of our favorite bands of all time. It was shocking and amazing to hear that Kevin Cronin is 73 years old. He's a fantastic talent!!! So many of the great songs that we've always enjoyed. They sounded fantastic!!! Thank you REO..".We're Gonna Keep on Loving You,!!"And thank my kids for a great gift.😃
