    THEY ROCK!!

    by QueenFan1 on 3/30/24

I have been seeing them for about 12 years and this tour tops them all! The new costumes, the new setlist...its incredible! There is no way that you CAN'T rock out! These guys have been touring longer than the real Queen did with Freddie and they continue to play to sell out venues in a few different countries so you know they are doing something right. You will see 5 guys working their butts off every night and never having less than 100% energy. Do NOT listen to the negative reviews. A few things to mention because those complaints are from people who obviously do NOT know Queen... *During Bohemian Rhapsody, they leave the stage during the operatic section and a few complained about this. If you ever saw the real Queen you would know that this is how THEY did it. They never performed that part live. *The complaints about Gary not hitting all of the notes and taking songs down an octave. Have you EVER seen a Queen live show? Freddie NEVER sounded like he did in the studio and there were MANY shows when he couldn't hit the notes (Roger carried him a lot) and he had to take songs down an octave because his voice was trashed (because we know that Freddie didn't really take care of his voice as he should have) People need to stop walking in with the expectations of seeing Freddie. Just like they complain about Adam Lambert with the real Queen. Freddie is gone. These guys are not him and never claim to be. They are paying tribute to the best frontman we have ever seen. One Night of Queen does an incredible job at recreating the energy of a live Queen show. Honestly I think that Gary has more energy than Adam Lambert, having seen both live numerous times. Go to the show with an open mind and be ready to rock out because you will NOT be able to sit still!

    So fun!!!!

by Girl from the 80s on 3/28/24Coronado Performing Arts Center - Rockford

Danced and sang the whole time! Gary Mullen and the band were so much like Queen it was like we went back in time. Interacting with the audience and an endless about of energy on stage. Didn’t want the show to end. May bring the whole family next time… thank you for such perfect night!

    Disappointing

by J57 on 3/27/24Coronado Performing Arts Center - Rockford

They were OK. The guitarist and drummer are extremely talented, the bass player and keyboardist are good. And the singer did a decent job of imitating Freddie Mercury. But the lack of Queen harmonies (culminating with the band walking off the stage for part of Bohemian Rhapsody and a recording of the real Queen playing instead) was very disappointing. Some big songs were shortened due their inability to recreate the vocals, and you could tell the lead singer could not hit some notes. A big part of Queen was the vocals and harmonies, and they were lacking.

    Was somewhat disappointed

by Deb H on 3/27/24Coronado Performing Arts Center - Rockford

I really never connected with the singer, who hit his share of off key notes. Even though I'm glad I went, I would not go again or recommend this show.

    Seating

by Danielle on 3/26/24Vibrant Arena at the Mark - Moline

Was not happy with paying $400+ for seats in the last row on the floor. When I purchased the seats it showed them being a lot closer than we were. I’m a short person and couldn’t see half the show. I stood on my chair for approximately 5 minutes before some woman came and told me to get down. Definitely was not worth the money for those seats.

    Disappointed

    by Tish5150 on 3/26/24Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

Have seen them many times over the years. Have always been so impressed with their show . This time though Gary wad singing in different octave and the band wasn’t as on key with music sound . Disappointed at the show. It’s like they say “ if it isn’t broke don’t fix it “ . Didn’t sound like Queen at all. Just like someone else was impersonating them in bad way. Hopefully next time they’ll be back on key with music and vocal sound.

    Good concert greedy venue.

by RogerW on 3/25/24Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

The concert was very good they put on a great show featuring most of Queen's top hits. My issue is with the Rosemont Theater in my opinion they are just too outrageous with their pricing. $25 just to park, $6.50 for a bottle of water, $8.50 for a pretzel $15.00 for a beer and $25 for a mixed drink. The doors open one hour before the show, but they won't let you into the theater for another half hour keeping everyone in the concession area. Every business needs to make a profit, but this is just gouging.

    Fantastic show....we'll worth it!!!

by Wheelz on 3/25/24Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

One Night of Queen took us all back to an era of a performer we might never see again! The group made you feel like you were in a personal party hosted by Freddie Mercury himself.

    Wow, what an experience!

by Shelli on 3/25/24Rosemont Theatre - Rosemont

This was an amazing experience. We bought the tickets as a Christmas present for my son, who is really into Queen and he had such a blast! We had the most incredible time at this show. It's about as close to seeing the real band as you can get. The singer and musicians we spot on and sounded fantastic. I highly recommend this for any Queen fan. You will not be disappointed.

    Great Show

by DP on 3/23/24The Factory - St. Louis

One Night of Queen was a fantastic show. At times I forgot it was a tribute band. The venue is perfect size for a concert so you don’t feel lost in the mix. This time I sat in the upper level, personally we liked this better than the floor seats. Definitely will go to more events here.
