Great show. The band played all the hits. They had everyone up dancing and singing. It was a great time!
Great time. Amazing show. Performers had lots of energy. Music was spot on. Highly recommend.
One Night With Queen, is a very very energetic, funny and show to see. This was my 3rd time seeing them. Love love love Queen's music and they, too me, sound just like the original. As long as they are preforming I will continue to see One Night With Queen.
The One Night Of Queen was awesome they never disappoints. I loved my seats
Seeing a Tribute band and being assured you'll know (almost) all the words to (almost) all the songs is a Rocker's paradise... and this show was no different. The musicians were fabulous and this "Freddie"has down-pat some of the real Freddie's mannerisms and dance moves (he obviously studied films). There was a light show, smoke, costume changes... everything you could hope for. Missing a bit was the harmonies that the original band had (not surprising... that sound is iconic), and there were a few songs where they needed to let the original soundtrack take over (ie Bohemian Rhapsody) but the crowd was enthusiastically singing away like "it doesn't really matter"... All in all a very fun show... you won't regret going to see it.
What a fun show! It was hard to stay seated as this band really brought the Queen vibe! Excellent lead singer and talented band. Highly recommend this show.
Very memorable performance. Crowd friendly. Good seats. Lead singer interacted with audience. Good venue.
He sounded just like Freddy and had is dance moves down, along with the outfits! All great musicians also!
We saw this group at another venue where the Gary had room to strut his stuff and it was more enjoyable. We did enjoy this concert very much but missed his “Freddie” moves.
This band beyond met my expectations. Truly brought me down memory lane of the 80s!
I wasn’t expecting the show to be that awesome.. I was blown away😊very impressive
I have seen this show a few times already and loved each one...you will not regret seeing them. Gary is amazing and his band is fantastic...
The venue is fantastic and the staff was very helpful. The only issue I had was with the band they were terrific that I could hear. I was in the front 4 rows directly in front of the stage. Great seats until the lead singer at the beginning to every one to have big party an stand and dance all during the concert. No problem for everyone that could stand. My husband has cancer and I just had a knee replacement so no way could we stand that long. I wouldn’t mind if they sat in between songs but the never did. I paid a lot of money so we could actually see the band, but was never allowed to. I spent the whole time looking at the back of someone in front. At one point the lead singer some how spotted us not standing and he call us out on it. We had to wave our canes so he could see why. Maybe then he might have asked if people could take a seat in between songs, but he was no help. Very disappointed if I could I would have stood up and sway to the music. None of this reflects on the staff, the singer should have been more considerate. Very disappointed.
I could swear that I was both watching and listening to Freddie Mercury! One of the best concert experiences...ever!
From the location, to the safe parking, to the entry experience, lighting, sound, ticket prices, seats, pricing of drinks, to the fantabulous staff, this venue is easy to enjoy. Small venue but mighty big time had by all.
Glad to see Gary Mullen & The Works branching out a bit - we see them every time they come to Portland - my favorite show!! He had some new outfits, but I really miss the old jean getup! And a cute new base player! I was hoping for a few more top hits, although I'm sure they get sick of playing the same songs all the time, but this time it was a few too many b-sides for me. Can't wait until they come back, I'll be there for sure - still my favorite band to see!!
The show was fantastic!! Gary's portrayal of Freddie was on point, from mannerisms to vocals. The Band was also terrific - a very talented group.
Freddie was energetic and his backup band was awesome. He sometimes sang off key.. but did well with his showmanship engaging the audience….. and never stopped strutting and moving about the stage. Fun to watch him trying to become Freddie. Aura did a fine job getting the crowd into the venue.
This was my 5th time seeing Gary Mullens and the Works. The show gets better every time!!
I have been seeing them for about 12 years and this tour tops them all! The new costumes, the new setlist...its incredible! There is no way that you CAN'T rock out! These guys have been touring longer than the real Queen did with Freddie and they continue to play to sell out venues in a few different countries so you know they are doing something right. You will see 5 guys working their butts off every night and never having less than 100% energy. Do NOT listen to the negative reviews. A few things to mention because those complaints are from people who obviously do NOT know Queen... *During Bohemian Rhapsody, they leave the stage during the operatic section and a few complained about this. If you ever saw the real Queen you would know that this is how THEY did it. They never performed that part live. *The complaints about Gary not hitting all of the notes and taking songs down an octave. Have you EVER seen a Queen live show? Freddie NEVER sounded like he did in the studio and there were MANY shows when he couldn't hit the notes (Roger carried him a lot) and he had to take songs down an octave because his voice was trashed (because we know that Freddie didn't really take care of his voice as he should have) People need to stop walking in with the expectations of seeing Freddie. Just like they complain about Adam Lambert with the real Queen. Freddie is gone. These guys are not him and never claim to be. They are paying tribute to the best frontman we have ever seen. One Night of Queen does an incredible job at recreating the energy of a live Queen show. Honestly I think that Gary has more energy than Adam Lambert, having seen both live numerous times. Go to the show with an open mind and be ready to rock out because you will NOT be able to sit still!
