NEEDTOBREATHE have spent over two decades developing a unique sound that blends elements of rock, country and Christian music. The South Carolina band was formed in 1998 by brothers Bear and Bo Rinehart. They expanded the outfit into a quartet and released a string of independent projects before debuting their first major label effort, Daylight, in 2006. NEEDTOBREATHE’s sophomore album The Heat (2007) marked the group’s first placement on the Billboard 200 and earned the group their first No. 1 on the Christian Airplay chart with the single, “Washed by the Water.” Their 2009 follow-up The Outsiders elevated the band, reaching gold certification from the RIAA, while 2011’s The Reckoning marked more crossover success after notching their first No. 1 on the Top Rock Albums chart. With 2014’s Rivers in the Wasteland, NEEDTOBREATHE broke into the Hot 100 thanks to the Gavin DeGraw collaborative song “Brother.” The single “Multiplied” led to the band’s first Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song. NEEDTOBREATHE reached a career peak at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 with 2016’s Hard Love. In 2020, the group announced the departure of Bo Rinehart and have since released three studio albums as a quintet with Bear, Seth Bolt, Josh Lovelace, Randall Harris and Tyler Burkum.

Great concert, full of excellent positive, high energy songs. You could tell they were having fun, and so was I!
What an incredible show! Fist, Judah and the Lion came out and they had so much fun with us. I thought they were going to be difficult to to outperform. The with Needtobreathe, so much energy and passion and enjoyment of their craft. Such a fun night!
Once on Bobby Bones show, Bobby himself commented about how hard both bands go. If anything that was an UNDERSTATEMENT! Both bands go hard the entire time! It's a great show. I saw part of the first leg last year and an early part of the second. It's such a great time. You will not regret it!
The bands were great. Getting into venue was good. The live nation food trucks are terrible! Cold & tasteless. Bring in more local food trucks. More choices. Worst burger I’ve ever had and the chicken was all hard breading. The staff were helpful. The bathroom was disgusting. I can’t believe the poor attendant wanted a tip. Floors were wet and only 1 hand soap worked. For the high prices of tickets fans deserve a better experience !
This was our third time seeing NEEDTOBREATHE and it surely won't be our last! They put on a phenomenal show. We're already looking forward to when we can see them again!
Judah and the Lion opened the show with great energy and an awesome sound. NEEDTOBREATHE came onstage and took the show to the next level! Their presence and sound were exceptional. To close the show, NEEDTOBREATHE welcomed back out Judah and the Lion to perform Dreams. What a great collaboration. Both bands sounded even better live than on record! Would recommend catching them on tour to anyone!
Really good show. Good mix of old and new wish they would’ve changed the Setlist around at a few songs but really good show has really great stage presents with the crowd. Lotta fun.
Thanks for bringing Needtobreathe & Judan and the Lion to Walnut Creek. We have followed both bands for years and were excited to see their collab. They have only improved with age in talent and content. We thoroughly enjoyed the show.
I've seen Judah and the Lion a bunch and they never disappoint! Put on a great show per usual, was hoping they would play longer. Was hopeful for NeedtoBreathe as I listened to them a few weeks up to the concert but they didn't sounds anything like their album. Ended up leaving a handful of songs in.
Fantastic show by my favorite band. So much fun!! Can't wait to them again next month and then again in July
Probably the fourth time seeing these guys. Never disappointed. Love the songs, the show, the lights, the images, the singing, etc. Always a good night. Let’s have a great night…
I’ve seen Needtobreathe 5 times now, 3 of those times on their current CAVES tour and they are amazing every time! I’d say this last time seeing Seth belt out some Led Zeppelin was the highlight of the show! A close second would be Bear talking to the audience reminding us that though they’ve done some country duos they are still OUR band. These guys have the best fan service and are truly talented musicians. My all time favorite band.
Great show by both Judah and the Lion and NEEDTOBREATHE to start the 2nd leg of this tour. We saw the final show of leg 1 and were pleased to see that leg 2 had some variation from both groups and even more energy. Cannot wait to see them both again soon.
Needtobreathe blew me away! My favorite concert I’ve been to of theirs. They put a ton of effort, creativity, and care into a great show. They always bring the energy and it was contagious. They appreciate their fans and honor them with their great shows. Judah and the Lion brought the heat and got the crowd pumped up for NTB. Loved it!
NeedtoBreathe was amazing! They were so energetic and played a mix of old and new music. They are great performers. My only complaint was with the venue because the acoustics weren’t very good. It made it hard to make out the words I think because of the building.
We left 30 minutes into the show because the sound quality was absolutely horrible. We couldn’t understand a word anyone was saying. It was a waste of money.
Its always a great experience with NEEDTOBREATHE! I enjoyed it very much.
Needtobreathe never disappoints no matter how many times you’ve seen them! Great music and so much energy! This was my first time seeing Judah and the Lion and they were great!
NTB - as always did a great job. Judah and the Lion was not so much. Their character doesn't seem to align with NTB. Lots of activity and push for crowd interaction but seemed to fall short.
I really like the show but they get all there honors from the Christian venues but want to be accepted in the secular community. I hope they see this and understand why I say this because what do you gain if having all the honors from the world but losing your very soul. The band that was the opening act said HELL (I’m not screaming it’s the only way to use the word) a couple of times and was asking the audience to repeat then said unless you were under the age of 18. Families were there this guy said he was a youth pastor before. Church arise stop buying into this is ok . It’s a slow fade and before you know it your children are saying and doing things you never saw coming.
