About

Heart formed in Seattle, Washington in 1973 and have rocked on through the years under the sibling core of Ann and Nancy Wilson. The group has released 16 studio albums, hitting the Top 10 seven times and topping the Billboard 200 with 1985’s Heart. The band have sold nearly 35 million albums worldwide. Early rock staples such as “Crazy on You,” "Barracuda” and “Magic Man” gave way to greater mainstream success in the ’80s with the group’s first Hot 100 chart-toppers, "These Dreams" in 1986 and "Alone” in 1987. Despite developing their own solo careers after their first hiatus in 1995, the Wilson sisters have reunited as Heart several times. In 2013, Heart was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band have received four career Grammy nominations and received The Recording Academy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2023.

Heart was phenomenal! Cheap Trick… was great to see.. but…

by BruceM on 5/19/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Heart was phenomenal to see! The whole band with the additional guitar players created an awesome sound!! Sadly for Cheap Trick, the sound was poorly mixed and distorted. I’ve never been to a professional concert that had this level of sound distortion. Once Heart came out and the sound crew/gear changed over, everything was crystal clear. With Cheap Trick I couldn’t make out a single word or even figure out which song it was, until we hit the ones where the audience was singing along.

    Great time

by Fmack on 5/19/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Let’s start with Cheap Trick, we had so much fun singing along with Robin and the crew. What a walk down memory lane. Great to see his son following in his foot steps. Heart; they still sound flawless “what a voice”. Love the Bowie cover, the Zeppelin covers, the ladies never disappoint.

HEART blew cheap trick out of the water

by JH on 5/18/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

HEART blew cheap trick out of the water. Cheap tricks sound was HORRIBLE. Even Ann, even if she had to sit for half the show, was more expressive than all of Cheap Trick.

    Heart

by CNoble on 5/18/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

We really enjoyed Heart! We knew every song they played. It was a great show! Cheap Trick was the first band, they sucked!!! You couldn't understand what they sang. It sounded like they were just yelling the songs. Way to noisey they need to stop touring!!!!!

    A spectator.

by Mike on 5/18/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

This was the best concert I have ever attended and I’m 71! (Interesting that the featured performers are age 71 and 73!) I loved the fullness of the sound, the acoustics of the venue, the clarity of the sound, the lighting, the movement and colors of the changing backdrop and, of course, the proficiency of the band and its support crew.

Heart was great and no pot:-) @ The Schott!

by DeeP on 5/18/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

Heart was great and I noticed no pot smoke, which is huge for me! I loved all the songs Heart played, and I was especially pleasantly surprised by “Dog & Butterfly,” “Mistral Wind” and the Led Zeppelin covers. Great musicianship and well-worth the ticket price! Cheap Trick was good too, except for a nebulous period in the middle of their set where there was a lone guitar playing, but I couldn’t make out any distinct chord progressions at all. It was like fiddling around between songs or something, without sounding anything like free jazz—more like a brain fart. They seemed to be lost, but then, suddenly, they pulled out a few great old favorites at the end and had everyone cheering. I have a lot of respect for these rock icons; they’ve been through a lot of years together and are very respectful to the audience which is always nice. All told, it was good to see them, but I think I missed Bun E.

    Blah

by Stan on 5/18/24Schottenstein Center - Columbus

I am certain that it was not the band's fault. I don't know how much blame goes to The venues acoustics and how much blame goes to The sound man! Either way I could not, nor the friend i was with, could make out the words either band was singing!
