About

Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias is one of America's most successful stand-up comedians performing to sold-out concerts around the world. He is also one of the most watched comedians on YouTube with almost a billion views and has over 25 million fans across social media.

In 2018, Iglesias was included in The Hollywood Reporter's "Top 40 Comedy Players" issue alongside comedy giants Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock and Lorne Michaels. The comedian has also had the distinct honor of being one of the few to headline and sell-out Madison Square Garden in New York, Staples Center in Los Angeles and Sydney Opera House in Australia.

Iglesias is the star and executive producer of Mr. Iglesias, the multi-cam, Netflix original comedy series, which is currently streaming Part 1-3. Iglesias plays a good-natured public high school teacher who works at his alma mater. He takes on teaching gifted but misfit kids to not only save them from being "counseled out" by a bully bureaucrat Assistant Principal, but also to help them unlock their full potential. In 2020, the show won best Primetime Comedy at The Imagen Awards, which recognizes positive portrayals of Latinx actors/actresses in the entertainment industry.

In addition to the Netflix comedy series, Iglesias penned a deal with Netflix to release his next two stand-up comedy specials for the streaming service. The first, titled One Show Fits All, was filmed in front of a sold-out audience at the Toyota Center in Houston and debuted in January 2019. The second, Stadium Fluffy premiered on October 18th on Netflix. The special was taped in front of a sold-out crowd of 50,000 fans at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles on May 6th and 7th, where Iglesias made history as the first comedian to perform at the iconic venue. Dodger Stadium is also the largest MLB stadium in the US.

Both of these specials are follow-ups to his highly successful 2016 special, I'm Sorry For What I Said When I Was Hungry, which was filmed at the Allstate Arena in Chicago to two sold-out shows with a total of 20,000 fans in attendance.

Feature film credits include co-starring roles in Magic Mike, Magic Mike XXL and A Haunted House 2. Gabriel's voice has been heard in many animated films including the recent Space Jam: A New Legacy as "Speedy Gonzales" streaming on HBOMAX. In 2017, Iglesias voiced the role of "Head Clerk" in Pixar's Academy Award nominated animated film Coco. He also voiced "Babo" in Ugly Dolls, "Rufus the Dog" in Sony's Golden Globe nominated animated holiday film The Star and "Cuatro" in Fox 20th Century Film's Academy Award nominated animated film Ferdinand. Gabriel is one of a handful of comedians with a theatrically released stand-up concert comedy film, The Fluffy Movie.

On the small screen, Fluffy's Food Adventures, a non-scripted comedic docu-follow series completed a 3-season run on FUSE TV in 2017. Gabriel was a recurring guest star on the ABC sitcom Cristela, and also guest-starred in an episode of ABC's hit comedy Modern Family. Comedy Central aired Iglesias' hit series Stand-Up Revolution for 3 seasons. Comedy Central also aired Gabriel Iglesias: Aloha Fluffy in an unprecedented two-night comedy special to over 15 million viewers. The special was a follow-up to his previous DVD specials, Hot & Fluffy and I'm Not Fat...I'm Fluffy, which have sold millions of copies.

Gabriel Iglesias is the youngest of six children, raised by a single mother in Long Beach, CA. It was during his childhood that he developed a strong sense of humor to deal with the obstacles he faced. In 1997, he set out to hone his comedic skills, and performed stand-up anywhere he could find an audience; including biker bars and hole-in-the-wall joints. Gabriel's stand-up comedy is a mixture of storytelling, parodies, characters and sound effects that bring his personal experiences to life. His unique and animated comedy style has made him popular among fans of all ages.

    Fluffy was great!

by Lucky on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Gabriel Iglesias show was great. I would have given the show 5 stars if it didn't included 2 of the 3 warm-up comics. Gabriel's friend, Martin, opened and was very good, but the next 2 (I can't even remember their names) were not. I would even say the second guy's routine was offensive. These guys took up for first hour of the show, which I wasn't expecting. However, "Fluffy"made up for this in the second hour and a half when he performed. I enjoyed him very much. I would go see him again if the opportunity arises again.

    Fun with Fluffy

by Lil Donuts on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Long lines in and a full house, sold out! Three comics before Fluffy! Marteen was one and the MC and he is great. The others were very good. Fluffy put on an amazing show as always. He is so wonderful and now very mature. I hope he stays very successful. He is a gifted entertainer and, obviously has a huge heart. Anytime he is doing a show in my area I will attend.

by Vanessa on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Fluffy is always funny. Great show. Only issue was the location to buy the meet and greet was not clear. Went around the arena and was being sent to multiple places. Security and staff personnel were not aware of where to go.

    Alright

by Vixter on 4/23/24Honda Center - Anaheim

Been to other Fluffy comedy shows in the past and this one was a disappointment. I was ready to laugh all evening but it was more of an update of Fluffy’s life. The opening comedians were great, especially JoKoy! He was the best comedian of the show. I’ll be going to his show next.

    Worth the money!

by Diana on 4/23/24Honda Center - Anaheim

Great first time experience. My teenage daughter was happy crying because she grew up watching Gabriel on YouTube. He really connects with the audience. I’d love to see him again if he’s back in Anaheim.

    Golden1 Center Sucks!

    by Monica L on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Golden1 Center is the worst venue for someone as popular as Gabriel. Not disabled friendly what so ever! We missed the show because we couldn’t get to our seats! Parking was ridiculous do not ever prepay for parking it’s not guaranteed! I am so disappointed

    Have a great time

by BK on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

The show was good but wasn't too thrilled with the full 10 -15 pushing merchandise. I know where the merchandise booths are located; if I want something, I'll get it. I'm not sure if this is pushed by the artist or promoter.....just stop.

    Fluffy

by Trisha on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

We enjoyed the entire show. All performers were great and of course the headliner didn't disappoint. The staff of the G1C were nice and helpful also, they definitely were on their job when it came to keeping the people from taking videos or photos of the show, at least in our section. Good job all around 👏.

Fluffy and gang were absolutely fabulous.

by Kimmer on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

I have been following Gabriel on Facebook for a number of years. He is such a down to earth guy who sees the comedy in daily life, which helps everyone see the humor in our own lives, truly a gift. Martin and the other comedians were also terrific following the same "brand"of humor. Not that I'm a prude (my husband and son are both contractors) but it's refreshing to listen to people who don't feel the need to use 4 letter "fillers"when it's not necessary. There's appropriate use of "explicatives"which is fine. It was so great to see Gabriel and his gang in person...he did not disappoint. Will look forward to seeing him again in the future.

    Funny People and Funny Cheese

by Mia on 4/23/24Golden 1 Center - Sacramento

Very funny and it was really easy to see even when I was high up, I really appreciated the big screens. I've been a fan since I was little and it was so cool to actually see him live. My only complaint is that the venue had expired cheese or something wrong with their nachos and it made my friend and I really sick. Other than that it was a great night but if I'm spending $13 on some nachos I'm hoping it's not spoiled.
