I expected more for a live show in terms of "guests." Only have 3 meant too much time was spent on each interview.
I LOVED my time at the Tabernacle witnessing comedy greats do improv! Comedy Bang Bang was freaking awesome, as usual! The performances by Manchester Orchestra sounded even more beautiful in this intimate setting. 5 stars!!
Everything about the show was amazing. Just some of the funniest people with great performances and obviously having a lot of fun doing it. Scott, the host, is fantastic and the performers he gets are all incredible at what they do. If you are a comedy fan, I Can't recommend this enough.
A terrific show, had a great time. Each performer was brilliant.
This is probably the best show I have ever been too.
Host, Scott Aukerman, delivered a powerful address concerning Seattle’s Moore Theater. His oratory prowess filled the room with a surge of energy much like the deafening cries of fans during Marshawn Lynch’s Beast Quake of the 90’s. “2,” Aukerman declared the number of balconies to be - and the audience erupted with excitement.
Scott Aukerman and guests put on a great show as is typical of this podcast
So funny! Really had a blast. Drew Tarver was a great surprise guest!
Loved the show so much! Amazing what Scott and Paul and their array of guests and characters can do every time! Long time listener, first time visitor.
My only regret is not having seen this live previously.
I've been a big Comedy Bang Bang fan for years and being able to see it live exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend seeing it when you have a chance. I drove from Kansas City to St Louis and it was worth it.
90 minutes of labored improv. Character choices not the best. To be fair they were dealing with audio issues at the Barrymore (surprise). The last “guest” was the only funny one. The audience was roaring at every line so maybe there was humor at a meta level I wasn’t aware of.
Truly funny show. Getting to see the magic happen live onstage was a wonderful experience. 10/10 no notes
I love this podcast and it was the first time I saw it live! So funny.
you forgot to open up the bag. don't be open don't be closing open it up and lets get loaded
Show was good, but Beacon Theater security was the worst I've experienced in years. Rude, power-hungry security taking 5 minutes for each person entering, multiple pat-downs, rifling through everyone's bags, stealing every last bit of food or water anyone may have. CBB is always awesome, but I would question whether I really wanted to go if it was at Beacon again.
Great work, gumshoes! Amazing job by all the comedians, especially Carl.
Doors supposed to open at seven, had to wait outside until nearly show time at eight.
a few people standing around talking about "what if" but not really going anywhere. in the two hours maybe 3 laughs. really disappointing
