Arizona Cardinals Team History
Founded in 1898 in Chicago as the Morgan Athletic Club, the Arizona Cardinals is the oldest professional football club in the NFL. The team joined the NFL as a charter team in 1920 and became the Chicago Cardinals in 1922. Some of the most iconic players in NFL history have worn the Cardinals uniform, including Pro Football Hall of Famers safety Larry Wilson, defensive back Dick "Night Train" Lane, cornerback Roger Wehrli, tackle Dan Dierdorf, cornerback Aeneas Williams, and quarterback Kurt Warner. State Farm Stadium has also given Arizona one of the NFL's most distinct home field advantages. Since beginning play at the venue in 2006, the Cardinals have earned three division titles, two NFC Championship Game appearances and their first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
In 2014, the Cardinals finished the season 11-5, marking the most regular-season wins for the franchise since 1975. The following year, they set another record for number of wins in a season since moving to Arizona, winning 13 games. That same year, the team clinched their first NFC West title since 2009.

Great game and vistor team friendly. Had a Wonderful night and cheered with and against opposing team around us.
Not a good game but experience great for ticket price. Food reasonable.
The overall experience from the purchase of the tickets to attending the game was a blast! My tickets were electronic and Ticketmaster had booths set up outside the stadium to assist folks who had this type of a ticket with entering the stadium. It was a GREAT and PLEASURABLE experience but a very disappointing loss. I would definitely do it again some time!
Fun experience. Very nice stadium with great home fans.
The Event was great. Just a over all great experiences, from the tailing gating to the game.
Everything was awesome, this was my first visit to State Farm Stadieum. Had to take public transportation but was no problem, no problem getting in with my Mobile phone tickets, fast & efficient, went to Section 104, got to my seat and had a great experience, nice view great people all around !! Best of all was my San Francisco 49ers won the game !!!!!
Game was ok. Getting there was good. But to Uber gone was a nightmare! Our driver couldn’t get into the stadium & we had 4 drivers cancel on us. It took an hour! The whole parking was cleared out before we got a ride!
I bought the tickets to see the game against San Francisco 49ers on Thursday Night Football. My brother & I were enjoyed and cheering also got a great seats from upper level to see the field but I been surrounded with the Niners fans. Snack and drinks were great and perfect delighted but expensive than the tailgate party.
Our father/sons getaway to Arizona included a Cardinals game, the game, the stadium and stadium staff were incredible. We had an awesome day enjoying a high scoring Cardinals win.
The Atlanta Falcons don’t come to the west coast very often do when I saw they’d be in Arizona, I bought tickets right away. Yea, they lost but it’s ok. The stadium is super clean, easy to get to and has great parking! We had a great time!
There really isn't a bad seat in this place as far as the view. This was my first game and it was last minute so we were in the nosebleeds. My only complaint is that everyone was dressed for Phoenix weather and the AC was cranked way too high. Everyone around us was visably cold. We ended up spending quite a bit on blankets and sweaters.
I missed the first quarter of the game due to the fact that my "wallet" (which is a wallet - checkbook style) was too big! have been to many stadiums for sporting events around the country - has never been an issue or questioned. Had to go back to the car (which was a long ways away - they are not great about telling you where the "cash parking lot is") missed the first quarter of the game - which wound up being the most exciting. The sound system is not good - so the half time tribute, could not understand a single word they were saying. It was an induction into their ring of fame :(
Had good seat lines were not too bad had a very good time,
I’ll be back. Cardinal organization did a great job. The place was great because parking was easy to get to and out and all safety measures was great as well.
Was a great experience. The game was exciting and the crowd was large.
Cardinals vs Panthers. I am a Panther Fan and this was my first NFL game that I've been to and it was Awesome! The Cardinal fans were awesome and very friendly! The Stadium was very nice and clean staff was very helpful! Plus the Carolina Panthers won that game so I was a Happy Fan!
This was our first visit to State Farm Stadium. We were very impressed by the facility. The day of the game it was 107 degrees and we were very thankful to be in an indoor air conditioned facility. We do have one suggestion, especially when games are in the late summer months when it is still exceedingly hot. We were in the Black Lots, which are quite a distance from the stadium. It would have been nice to have misting units or cooling stations along the route. Other than that we had a terrific time once inside.
It was a great game, Cardinals first round draft pick and heisman trophy winner sucked so bad. I think they wasted their pick!! But they are still probably good enough to beat the Broncos!!
Enjoy this experience this year better than last year. Equally as fun a least no one stole my valve stem caps off my truck this time!
Great seats, great venue, definitely will be going again.
