Arizona Cardinals Team History
Founded in 1898 in Chicago as the Morgan Athletic Club, the Arizona Cardinals is the oldest professional football club in the NFL. The team joined the NFL as a charter team in 1920 and became the Chicago Cardinals in 1922. Some of the most iconic players in NFL history have worn the Cardinals uniform, including Pro Football Hall of Famers safety Larry Wilson, defensive back Dick "Night Train" Lane, cornerback Roger Wehrli, tackle Dan Dierdorf, cornerback Aeneas Williams, and quarterback Kurt Warner. State Farm Stadium has also given Arizona one of the NFL's most distinct home field advantages. Since beginning play at the venue in 2006, the Cardinals have earned three division titles, two NFC Championship Game appearances and their first-ever Super Bowl appearance.
In 2014, the Cardinals finished the season 11-5, marking the most regular-season wins for the franchise since 1975. The following year, they set another record for number of wins in a season since moving to Arizona, winning 13 games. That same year, the team clinched their first NFC West title since 2009.

I purchased tickets for the Cardinals vs Steelers game to surprise my husband / we had a great time with a good view
Excellent access to food and restrooms. Friendly staff assisting in mobile tix entry and for a full house, great flow with small lines
Ticketmaster, you really need to reconsider the option of being able to print tickets to get into this stadium. Or perhaps add cell towers to the entrance. There were SO MANY people having challenges getting into the stadium because there wasn't enough cell signal to log into Ticketmaster to pull up our tickets. And a snap shot was unacceptable for entry, but I'm glad i took one before heading to the game, or I would have had absolutely no way of knowing where my seats were. Great game! Horrible experience getting in with Ticketmaster electronic tickets!
We had an awesome time at the game!!! The mobile tickets were fast and convenient!!
This was an awesome experience for me! This is the first NFL game I have ever been to. I have been a huge Steelers fan since the 1970's and loved getting to watch them play. I will buy tickets again from Ticketmaster. Everything was so easy. Thanks!
Great stadium. Well organized and not over crowded. Good seats
The event was very enjoyable. The seats had good sightlines, and the stadium was properly staffed. The parking was clearly stated and organized.
The process thru Ticketmaster was smooth as silk. No tree was ever endangered! All done electronically. Good job and thanks
I met so many nice people and the stadium was gorgeous staff was so friendly and super helpful food was out of this world you ever visit the cardinals stadium get the street tacos they are beyond amazing
This stadium was so nice. The people were very helpful and the Steelers fans like myself took over! Amazing time and will definitely come again
I was with a group of about 20 people and some were elderly individuals without smartphones. We were sitting in different sections. After we scanned all tickets to enter I talked to multiple staff members on what the best way would be to have all people with proof of seats while they are in the stadium in their respective sections. Not one person was helpful. I had to walk around the stadium to various sections with my elderly travelers and speak with each usher in their section and let them know where their seats would be. The last few of us missed the start of the game due to the combination of long security lines and lack of assistance from staff members regarding tickets. We spent a good 45 minutes trying to figure things out. Please rethink mobile entry only tickets.
First time here I thought the seats would be to high. But it was actually pretty good the view wasnt to bad, given I was in the 400's. My son, husbadn and I really enjoyrd the game.
We traveled from Viriginia to Arizona for the Pittsburgh Steelers game. Checking into the stadium with the Ticketmaster app was so easy. This was my daughters first game and she really enjoyed the whole experience, plus great end zone seats!! Now she is talking about the next one.
I've purchased tickets before but never done through ticketmaster. I've heard all the horror stories about getting ripped off on ticket sales but was very pleasantly surprised at how well this experience went. We were sent an email with a link to the tickets. Aside from it taking a few minutes to complete the process (which we weren't sure if that was normal or if we were going to discover we got cheated out of tickets), it went very well. The person we purchased the tickets from clearly understood the hesitation and said he was OK with us paying for them when we got in to our seats - That's the part that gave us some comfort - if we didn't tickets, we would have not paid. As a result, we got to see an AWESOME game!!
I loved it! Granted, I am a Steelers fan, but it was just an amazing game, amazing experience, and Arizona is an amazing state!
First time attending an NFL event. Easy access with ticket on ticketmaster app. Experience was out of this world. Great, fun, fantastic would not hesitate to do it again.
The game day experience is something my entire group was looking forward to. The staff was very, very helpful. But here were the unexpected issues. First, the stadium seriously needs to add restrooms! Extremely long lines just to get in one. They need to double the amount of restrooms. Second, the arena announcer did not acknowledge the Steelers when they scored. It took awhile to realize this, but our group had to rely on the small scoreboards to see any information. I am not sure if this is the way this stadium does every game or not. And, the scoreboards are too small. The parking lot configuration ( we parked in the Yellow Lot) was such it took almost an hour to get on the surface streets after we got to the cars after the game.
Cardinals stadium is beautiful! The Steelers won! That’s what I went for!! 🖤💛🖤💛
The seats were really small. Too close together. The hight of it was scary. The angle made it uncomfortable.
The game was absolutely AMAZING!!! Great Seats near the stairs, concessions, and restrooms. Could be more pleased.
