Disney’s ALADDIN is a dazzling and extravagant showcase of special effects — including a flying magic carpet during “A Whole New World” — as well as glittering-gold costumes and art deco-style sets that mirror the grandeur of a Busby Berkeley musical. One of Broadway’s most popular musical comedies, the show opened at the legendary New Amsterdam Theatre on March 20, 2014, and has since broken numerous house records (grossing over $500 million on Broadway). Eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken composed the show’s music. The lyrics are by two-time Oscar winner Howard Ashman (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid), as well as three-time Tony Award and three-time Oscar winner Tim Rice and six-time Tony Award nominee Chad Beguelin. The book is by Beguelin and direction/choreography is by two-time Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw.

So entertaining and funny! Would be great for children also. Laughed through the whole thing. Costumes were beautiful. Performance was top notch!
The performane was amazing as well as the set. Would have liked a different Jasmine but everyone else was amazing.
It is definitely one show not to miss! Aladdin was great also! Just a great show! The only thing that I could say was not good is the seats are so close together that there is not foot room. I had to sit with my feet sideways. No room ! I felt sorry for tall men to try and fold themselves into the seats. Show was comical and very enjoyable!
This show was absolutely awesome, I highly recommend going to see Aladdin on Broadway!
This is everything a broadway show should be , fun and entertaining . Totally engaging talent , beautiful costumes and set design. It’s light hearted with memorable songs . Don’t miss it !
This show was wonderful! My first Broadway show! The actors and staging were spectacular!
Aladdin was perfection! The singing, the costumes, the acting was flawless. I’m so happy I finally got to see it!
Superbly staged and brilliantly performed in Broadway's most beautiful theater, Aladdin shouldn't be missed! The orchestra, actors, and theater staff are the best of the best. And the New Amsterdam Theatre itself is an impeccably restored (thank you, Disney!) 120 year old theatre that is worth seeing in and of itself. See Aladdin and see it in NYC.
The show was phenomenal. The theatre is very amazing and the musical too. I recommend à 1000%.
The set was amazing, but the show felt like it was missing a little magic when we went. The genie felt a bit rushed, over the top and overbearing towards the other actors.
What a show! Amazing performances from all involved and a memory that will last a lifetime
From start to finish the performance was full on and so much fun. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the musical, would highly recommend and would definitely go again.
Everybody of my group love the musical! The flying carpet is amazing!
I took my 3 year old granddaughter and she thoroughly enjoyed herself as did I! Loved the Genie.
Aladdin was amazing! The theatre perfectly matches the show with beautiful colors. The show is dynamic with bright colors and amazing full ensemble pieces. The magic carpet... breath taking!! A wonderful Broadway show for the whole family!
Must see musical for Aladdin fans! The costumes, set and all performers were amazing! The comedy added was hilarious and the genie was outstanding!!
Super boring show. Feel asleep. Not worth the money.
The best musical with the best effects on stage! Am incredible experience for the whole family.
Disappointing show. Have seen Aladdin in Sydney and the broadway performance was lacklustre. We came to a Saturday 8pm show. Wasn’t helped by door people/theatre staff chatting through the performance and letting late people in midway through both acts. Musical performance was not up to the standard of other Broadway shows. Would save your money.
We absolutely loved watching Aladdin. The entire cast were brilliant but the genie made the show! The singing voices, costumes, set and cast were all fantastic
