I must say WOW. Seether was absolutley amazing! So was Stone Sour and the rest of the bands. I thought Seether shouldve been the headliner.
I was not impressed, We were not able to understand most of the bands. Maybe some mic issues. The only Band we were able to really enjoy was 3 Doors Down. I was able to understand Seether during the song Broken but only because the audience sung along. I was very disappointed.
Was in St. Pete from out of town...the venue was new to me. Lots of open seats - I think the lower level seats were overpriced since the upper level was more full. The bands were great. Missed Halestorm, but the other bands were good. With so many bands, no one got to play for very long, so if you're a big fan of one of the bands, there wasn't much chance of hearing them play some of their more obscure songs that a true fan loves. First time seeing Seether - they ROCKED. Couldn't believe the sound that came out. Liked them before, love them now. Stone Sour played well, too, although the lead singer thought F Bombs were the way to the crowd's heart. Every other word out of his mouth, unfortunately. Hadn't seen 3 Doors Down play before either. Their sound was GREAT. Their stage presence is a little lacking though. Still, glad to see them.
Great lineup! Of the last four bands I knew almost every song they played.
The audio/mixing was completely horrible. The music was good but the vocals were horrid. They were muddy and washed out. Who ever was doing the mixing sucked. The music was turned up way too loud and overpowering the vocals.
All the bands were great!! Skillet was amazing,I am now a fan of theirs!!! Seether rocked the house of course and 3Doorsdown ended the show with a bang!!!! But then again yoou can NEVER go wrong with 3Doorsdown..hands down best band EVER!!!!
My God, I knew the lead singer of Halestorm had a voice, but man live it was incredible. I have never heard any female singer with pipes like that, even bigger than Heart or Amy Lee. The worst part was that it didn't last longer, she was awesome. Stone Sour played well too, Corey Taylor rules and really knows how to put on a show. Seether and Theory of a Dead Man had some sound issues but eventually got fixed and enjoyed there old school sound, a little grunge and some 80's style rock. Skillet was a lot better than I thought they were, better live band...and the girls rocked too!!! 3 Doors Down, great voice....just a little tired at that point to enjoy it more.
Great concert although i would have liked the individual sets to be a little longer and prices for beverages a little less expensive too but great show.
I traveled from Ft. Lauderdale to see Theory...they weren't as good as they could have been. They had all of 4 or 5 songs to sing/play and that is not the time to try new stuff out on the crowd. Why sing a song that is not yours? The best were Skillet and 3 Doors Down. Stone Sour has such a foul mouth!!! BUT I didn't realize how awesome 3 Doors Down is!!! I loved how they were down to bare minimum on the stage and totally kept the audience entertained!!! Skillet, I knew would be good! And the drummer is FABULOUS...what a voice!!!!
Beer was overpriced. Didn't serve any hard liquor. All bands were great except 3 Doors Down was very boring and had no stage prescence.
Concert was good with the following comments: Stone Sour was probably the best known performers. Too bad the lead singer can't expand his vocabulary to add some more words that don't begin with an "F". 3 Doors Down - great band but not great perfomers. Skillet - welcome surprise and would recommend highly. Love to see more. The crowd: wow. What time did they start drinking? Majority were drunk prior to 6:15 start. And really, they need to make sure people wear clothes. Don't need to see all that skin that you think is so pretty.
this event was a once in a lifetime event. never going back. love 3dd, but had to bail out due to noise
halestorm, skillett, & seether were amazing. Theory of a deadman was boring as was stone sour. Needed a bigger closing act, half the people left. Lots of empty seats at the show. Great to see some new bands!
Rockfest was awesome. Had a great time with some great friends.
we started at the kick ass free show in the plaza. art of dying jamed out then crossfade stoped all eyes on the plaza with a totally rockin set. then it was inside for a jamin set from hail storm.stone sour put on a decent set before seether came out and totally rocked out with the best set of the whole show.with songs like fake it and their new hit country song. theshow cloesd with 3doors down, who should have just let seether rock more.
The entire show was awesome with the exception of the head liner. 3 Doors Down was a boring show. We left after 4 songs, thinking it would get better, but it didn't. The concert ended when Stone Sour left the stage.
three doors down was great. they did their hits and they sounded great. they continuously thanked the crowd and showed appreciation to the fans. none or not much profanity either.
i loved the show ,it started with Crossfade outside on stage ,followed up inside with Theory of a Deadman ,Seether absolutly a favored of mine and then came Stone Sour i heard a few songs on the radio by the group before but at the rockfest they raised te roof .i have to say that 3 Doors Down could not take it any further .
Although the lineup of bands was great, the sound mix was not that great, there was a lot of echo and you could barely hear the vocals, dissapointed with the sound mix for sure
a must see for all music lovers a six hour concert for 60 bucks come on people
