    Good show

by CJM on 1/18/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Apparently I don’t know much about the Mormon culture as a lot of the jokes went over my head. I enjoyed the show anyway, but people might want to read up first.

OMG - Best play EVER !!!

by AJ on 1/17/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This is the most intelligent and funny play I've ever seen. I've been to it 5 times, and each time it gets better. You will laugh from the first minute to the last...! Money VERY well spent. The characters, dialogue, concept and staging are all first class, and perfect for the story told. I can't recommend it enough - you will LAUGH, and remember the lines and this play forever...

    Laughing

It had me going from beginning to end. Loved the acting and singing (and orchestra).

    Lots of irreverent fun!

by KeyboardChris on 1/17/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I really enjoyed the show; it kept my interest the entire time and the casting was excellent! My only complaint would be the actor who played Elder Price sang flat often when trying to hit certain high notes. It was strange because he could hit higher notes just fine, but certain ones were definitely flat. They were having some technical difficulties at the start, so I wonder if his IEM wasn't working properly? Regardless, I highly recommend seeing the show!

    Awesome!

by maddawg on 1/17/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

From the beginning the play drew us in and never let us down. Very funny and the cast was very talented, great voices. Recommend it to all! We were in the mezzanine and their voices carried without any problems.

    So bad, it's good!!!

by Season C on 1/17/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This is not the first time I've seen book of Mormon. Every single time it gets funnier and every single time I see more and more. Such a wonderful musical. So wonderfully done. And so incredibly funny. Highly recommended if you are not sensitive to some raunchy subject matter.

It was wonderful. Everyone can relate.

by Marie on 1/16/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Not sure how it is received by the Mormans. It was fun to hear all the hidden jokes in the songs. Everyone played their parts up to the hilt! I loved the people of Uganda and the frustration of the boys on their missions. It was great to see the General"converted in the end. All in all it was a fun afternoon.

    An incredibly hilarious show!

by Oly Gal on 1/16/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Loved The Book of Mormon! It was inappropriate, raunchy, and hysterical - what more could you ask for in a show?

Hilarious musical — not for pearl clutchers

by Meesh on 1/16/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This is kind of what you expect if you’re familiar with South Park content. Hilarious and would recommend for adults

    One of my favorites

by John on 1/16/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This was my first time seeing the show, but I was very familiar with the music (I’m a huge fan of the Book of Mormon musical). Overall, I LOVED seeing it in person. It’s everything I want in a Broadway musical. If you like the humor, which isn’t for the faint of heart, you’ll have a great time. I expect that hardcore Broadway musical fans could find flaws here and there, but the overall experience was a 10/10 for me.

    What a great time!

by So funny! on 1/16/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This show couldn’t have been better! We had great seats! We actually saw the understudy who was Lars Hafell instead of Sam Nackman. They have very different builds and I’m guessing voices and it made the show a bit fresh, and if I had the choice I’d see Hafell again! He brought so much energy to the performance.

    Good not Great

by GiGi on 1/15/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The troupe was talented as always and can’t beat The Paramount. I think the show is good but overhyped. Glad I did not pay to see it on Broadway. Still had a good time.

    Disappointing

by Paramount Fan on 1/15/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

It was difficult to enjoy this performance when much of the dialog and song lyrics were unintelligible. The production needs to tone down the music and turn up the voices of the performers.

    Fantastic Show!

by Liv on 1/14/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

This show was so funny! The cast - perfection! The singing and dancing - amazing! Like most people in their 30s (and probably against the wishes of parents) I grew up watching South Park. The show and the songs are very reminiscent of the South Park we knew but it's a little more grown up, you know, because it was a Broadway play.

    Just ok

by Gkaal on 1/14/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

The show was just ok. Not really worth the cost of tix. The sets were great and the singing/acting was fine, but it just wasn’t close to the hype. Wouldn’t recommend.

    A must for ex-Mormons

by A reviewer on 1/14/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Ex-Mormons will love this. There are so many things that when you're "in the fold"you don't question, but when your eyes are opened up they seem incredibly obvious. This play points many of those out, in a humorous way. It is not insulting, but makes you think. Very enjoyable play - definitely worth seeing. It was much cruder than I had anticipated, however seeing as it was written by the South Park people that makes sense.

    Talent can’t fix my experience

by Uncomfortable on 1/14/24Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Show was good but the seats are so uncomfortable, it was too hot in the mezzanine. I was a ticket season holder for years but during the pandemic I didn’t renew. I had forgotten how miserable I use to be. Decided to grab a show with friends. I was miserable, hard to see due to people in front of me. No legroom. I subscribe to village theater and it’s an all round better experience. The line up is not as great but at least I want to go back.
