Memphis was ver entertaining! My husband and I both loved it. Not for kids though. Some bad language.
First time- amazing show! The show was worth the price, however didn't fancy the seats as much as I thought. Would recommend center!
Outstanding, very well done. Both leads had amazing voices the show was so entertaining I lost track of time couldn't believe it was almost 3 hours long. Enjoyed every minute.
wonderful show. Touring ensemble just as good as New York. Casting was wonderful. Sound system in the Times Union theater needs a serious update.
Absolutely fantastic! Great story line with a fun and energetic cast, so entertaining! We went for a friend's birthday and had a blast! It's a deep story companied with humor and great entertainment. Loved it.
Memphis was amazing - players very good and talented
Great music and singers...the leading lady rivaled Whitney Houston in her day!
THE SINGERS WERE FANTASTIC AS WERE THE DANCERS. SOME AROUND ME LEFT AT HALF TIME AS THEY DID NOT LIKE THE MUSICAL'S STORY LINE. THE REALITY IS THAT THE STORY LINE IS REPRESENTATIVE OF THE CULTURE OF THE TIME PERIOD.
The show was very good. I should have brought a box of tissues.
This was an enjoyable evening of good music and lots of fun.
This was a really good performance. The theatre itself was spectacular too. I have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone.
The Saenger renovation is fantastic. NOLA finally has a location for touring companies to perform. Well done.
Memphis was great! Wonderful dancing and exceptional singing!
Saenger Theater in New Orleans is beautiful. Lots of good seats. The music and singing we're top notch. Easy to see how it won so many awards.
The acoustics were so bad (maybe it was just where we were sitting) that we couldn't understand what the players were saying half the time. While it appeared that some of the parts were played by outstanding actors, other parts, particularly the male lead, was overacted. The female lead was two big thumbs up.
It was a great show. Very entertaining throught the show.
GOOD TALENT BUT TOOOOO LONG. THE SONGS STARTED ALL SOUNDING ALIKE. USE OF THE "N" WORD WAS DISCONCERTING. CROWD REACTION VERY TELLING.
I have been recommending, not to just a friend, but to all my friends that they try to find tickets and make time to see this production. Daniel Hines does an amazingly strong performance in the role of Huey Calhoun, but my favorite had to be Jerrial T Young as Bobby.
Act I was fantastic. The last half of Act II threw away everything that the show worked so hard for through the great First Act.
