Memphis (Touring) Tickets

Memphis was a great musical; however, what made me give this show a rating of recommended instead of amazing was the fact that the sound was not that great. During many times in the show, the lyrics and dialogue were indiscernible as a result of the sound not being balanced.

Loved the music, actors were terrific. Whole production was super. Everyone was so "real" acting. Was easy to get caught up in the action, like I was reliving my childhood.

This was a great play and is now considered one of my favorites

Sold out and for good reason. Great cast, great music, great dancing. A very entertaining look back to a time of change for our country. It can be easy to forget the way the country looked at race just 50 years ago. This is a celebration of the progress this society has made. Well done !!

Let me start by saying the acting was good as was the singing, what we could hear of it. The band was way too loud. So loud you could not make out the lyrics. Unfortunately a lot of the story ling was sung. I thought the dancing was mediocre at best

We really enjoyed seeing Memphis at the North Charleston PAC. Didn't read any reviews prior and didn't really know what the show was about. The singing and music were great. The content and story was wonderful and touching. Love the opportunity to see Broadway shows locally.

I thought Memphis was very good. The dancing was fantastic .

We loved the play. When I purchased tickets it said "children-friendly" = except a fight scene - so we went forward buying really expensive tickets for our family and took our 8 yr old son. We all LOVED the play - but the f-word was not necessary - and a few other swear words also didn't really seem necessary. The fight was fine - and tasteful.

I really enjoyed Memphis. The music was great. I already knew that David Bryan (Bon Jovi's keyboard player) wrote the score for this musical and won a Tony in his first attempt, so I was most excited to hear the music more than anything. The plot was somewhat predictable, but good. All in all, it was enjoyable and I would recommend, but wouldn't say it's the best musical I've ever seen.
