Soft Play Tickets

Went to see Slaves and Avion Roe for my friends birthday and it was the best night ever! There wasn't many people (about 40 in total) so all the band members were walking around on the floor meeting everyone and they were nice and chill. I got many autographs and pictures with just about everyone playing that night. They all put on a great performance, but Avion Roe stole the show with the best, unforgettable show that exceeded my expectations. I love coming to this venue, great memories every time. Def going back in November to see Avion Roe again!

Isaac (Holman) and Laurie (Vincent) are first and foremost entertainers. They rule the stage like they've been there before and they give you their passion, a primal explosion of furious guitar riffs and heavy drumbeats capped by Isaac's lyrical hooks. One can see why they've become so popular in the UK. Isaac's thick British accent and endless gaze at his audience reminds me of a young Johnny Lydon in many ways. Laurie is often the comic relief to Isaac's fury on vocals and drums. Shaking his behind, or dropping a little humor in between his monstrous riffs. If you want to move, mosh and get those primal urges out of your system, see this band. They bring it.

First off, pretty sure that isn't the right picture for SLAVES... Conquer Divide started off the show. If you haven't seen them live, do it now, because this will be the last time you get to see them in small venues. They're going to get huge! They had one of the best albums of 2015 and they're good live, even though they're new. Good way to start the show. Outline in Color was next and really brought some extra energy. Thought they played really well and their unclean vocalist was on point. Their lead guitarist also hung upside down from the rafters and played for part of a song. Myka Relocate are very good and I've seen them a few times already, but they had some major technical difficulties, which took away from the performance, but when they're at their best, they're really good. Jonny Craig also came out and guested for a song. Capture the Crown were a strange choice for this tour. I don't think they fit and they were pretty tough to watch. They certainly have a following, but they wouldn't even play their popular song. They teased it and then said they'll never play it a again...seems strange to me... SLAVES closed the show and Jonny Craig's voice is even amazing live! The whole band was really good too, but they also had technical difficulties and ended their set very early. I'd like to see them again.

We love Slaves and will be returning to the Masquerade anytime they will be in town.

The show was great all the bands were amazing and really chill. The only thing that sucked was the doors opened late and then moved super slow.
