Matroda on Tour

One of the most well-known bass house artists in EDM today, Matroda is lighting up top-tier festivals and popular stages across the U.S. and internationally. Listed at No. 19 of the world's Top 100 producers of 2022 by 1001Tracklists, his EDM career is on a rocket-like trajectory.

He's drawn thousands to sold-out shows and has amassed over a million followers on Spotify with his rhythmic beats and inventive sonic combinations.

Matroda debuted at the height of the electronic dance craze in 2013 with his single "Some Strange Voices." But it was his 2015 remix collaboration with Chris Lake on SNBRN's "California" that started his meteoric rise. He released his first album, All Eyes on Matroda, in 2014. His second album release, The RED Tape, dropped in 2019 and features Kaleena Sanders and Dances With White Girls. It was one of the EDM genre's most influential albums that year.

In 2020, Matroda launched his label Terminal Underground and released Jack The House. In 2022, he worked with Wax Motif on a Latin tech house single, "La Candela Viva," and with Bleu Clair on the thumping sonic soundscape single "PWR."

Matroda Live in Concert

Matija Rodić, known as Matroda, is a native of Zagreb, Croatia. He currently lives in Los Angeles.

He discovered his love for electronic music via his older brother, who was a huge fan of dance music. He got started by mixing arrangements using music software on a Playstation One.

Matroda is classically trained in violin, drums and keyboard and is a fan of all genres, making a point to spread the love across styles in his compositions. He takes inspiration from legends like Led Zeppelin, Frank Sinatra and The Beatles. These combined sounds create his unique "matrodasound," a term coined by his fans.

    Matroda = Eargasm

by Crystal on 5/2/23Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

This was my fifth time seeing Matroda and let me say this is his best set yet! Not only because it was 3 hours but because it was in a much smaller venue than all the other venues I've seen him perform at! The smaller venue provided a much more intimate feel to it! Plus you can't go wrong with merch!

    3/3 time seeing Matroda

by Not the biggest fan on 5/2/23Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

My boyfriend loves Matroda but every time I’ve seen him it’s been a meh show. This last one I was drunk and high and that’s the only way i (somewhat) enjoyed Matroda’s set. Sorry Matroda. I just don’t love you. Vibez we’re good from some people thought. The lights were pretty awesome though.

Great show overall. Good vibes with the rave group and didn’t notice how fast it ended. Down for another show if he comes back to The Hollywood Palladium!!

    Great show just crowded

Matroda is one of the best around. Little to no breathing or dancing room though, capacities should be lowered.

Great show - we need to talk about your water

by Labo on 5/2/23Hollywood Palladium - Hollywood

Show was great the sound quality seemed to improve for Matroda but sounded off for the opener. The big thing we seriously hear to talk about is your partnership with liquid death. Do you know how annoying it is that people can’t buy a water without it being in a Can? And it’s not even the fact that it’s bad water or frustrating to dance with it the entire time it’s the fact that I can’t even buy one without the bartenders “being required” to open it before serving like what stupid policy is that? What is the actual point and forcing us to get the water already opened? I see no utility in this
