Josh Dickens, professionally known as Joshwa, is a London-based DJ and producer. His interest in producing was sparked at the age of 9 during an IT class. He was supposed to be learning Excel but instead started playing with a program called Dance 4 eJay using pre-built loops. By the time he was 13, he began to take it more seriously and started making EDM.

In another life, Dickens played center half on a professional football team in Chile.

His inspiration comes from listening to all genres of music, including world music, classical and movie soundtracks.
