Giovannie & The Hired Guns were originally just a small town band who played local live shows in Texas. The group of five quickly became a force to be reckoned with in the rock scene. The current members are frontman Giovannie Yanez, Milton Toles on drums, guitarists Jerrod Flusche and Carlos Villa, and bassist/founding member Alex Trejo. Coming from humble beginnings, Yanez began dabbling in songwriting while working the counter full time at a local rock quarry. It was there that he came across Trejo and the two began assembling the Hired Guns lineup. The band members sure paid their dues, oftentimes playing four-hour sets with minimal breaks for not very much money. But that didn't deter them from doing what they felt so passionately about. Word about the band started to spread like wildfire around town. Locals, and soon the world, would rave about the authentic, gritty, raw sound that is Giovannie & The Hired Guns. They released their full-length debut album, Bad Habits, in 2017, followed by a self-titled release in 2020, amassing millions of streams. Giovannie & The Hired Guns are hard at work on their third album to be released in 2022. According to Yanez, the album will be just as powerful as the last.
