I am so appreciative that I'm able to see this tour 48 years after the album came out. Musical Box did such a great job, especially the Peter/Rael fellow. I was left wanting for nothing. Bravo!
Wonderful as always!! This was approximately my 30th time seeing TMB/TLLDOB. I was to young to see GENESIS in 1975. Seeing TMB is like going back in time to listen and watch a important part of music history!! Thank You TMB!!!!
This show was incredible! Kudos to the Musical Box for such a faithful recreation of the true Genesis experience. Having seen nothing but still photographs I’d been waiting my whole life to see The Lamb performed properly in it’s entirety. This was the crowning achievement of Genesis. All downhill pop drivel after Trick of the Tail. Thank you for doing this Musical Box, you guys are beyond excellent!
I am a long-time Genesis fan and have seen them several times. I saw the Last Domino Tour in December. I heard the Musical Box was very good so I decided to see it and was not disappointed! They put on a really great show playing The Lamb. They did an extra awesome encore, too. Highly recommend for Genesis fans!
These guys are the real deal. Obviously you'll never hear Genesis playing the entire Lamb album start to finish, never mind note-for-note. Highly recommend the band, and the venue. What better place to hear The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway, than on Broadway!
Concert was really good but the venue closed all their bars at 9:30. I got one drink before the 8:00 show, no sign or mention that all three bars would be closed by the time I went for a second drink at 9:30.
I’ve seen The Musical Box many times but no performance hit this height - ever! What an amazingly perfect show!!
The authenticity and attention to detail of this show was second to none. For those of us who never saw the original Genesis tour, this is as good as it gets. And for those who did see it, it would be re-living the experience to a T !
Absolutely phenomenal. Fantastic representation of 1972 Genesis. One of the best shows I've seen in a long time.

These players are more than a Genesis cover band. They are great musicians. Denis is a superb frontman and on this night the drummer ruled.
Only 4 stars because the seats at the Rialto are so uncomfortable! This band is amazing and the technical crew is top-notch as well. Great experience.
I saw Steve Hackett/Nad Sylvan and crew the week before in Phoenix, and then Musical Box in Tucson. The Lamb is a very complex and layered piece of work. MB certainly put on a (deliberately dated) show, but the finesse and perfection I heard the previous week simply was not there. MB played Musical Box as an encore, and the vocals were given a deliberate child-like treatment which was disappointing for me. Having said that, I admire their work but when one of the greatest (SH) is out there still commanding the show; they have a tough act to follow.
Visually stunning, perfected sounds and vibrations. All songs are duplicated to a T and every characteristic of every song is presented with perfection!
It's the third time I've watched them. Exquisite in the presentation. Chords identical to the original recording. I think they are excellent professionals who perfectly do what they set out to do, that is, play Genesis.
The Musical Box’s performance of the Genesis classic The Lamb Lays Down on Broadway was an amazing experience. It’s great that these tribute bands are keeping this fantastic music alive and staying true to the vision of the artists who created it. I would highly recommend seeing this show and supporting The Musical Box.
The show and music were outstanding. The Musical Box really captures the essence of "Early" Genesis! The on stage "Peter" authentically reproduced the actions of Peter Gabrial and how he would have performed all those many years ago and the players truly generated the Genesis sound. Excellent all round!!
What an experience! The Musical Box do a fantastic job of playing the old Genesis material, and I was stunned at the staging they were able to get away with in a relatively small venue. Festival place is one of those venues where there are no bad seats and the people are friendly and helpful. Only weird bit was the cash-only bar...pandemic aside, a place in Canada that doesn't accept debit cards in 2022?
Wonderful concert at Danforth Music Hall made even more special by the use of original visuals and costumes. Would gladly see them again and again and again.
