  • My 5th time, not my last.

by Outstanding!!!!!!! on 11/13/23The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

My 5 time seeing TMB. Will not be my last. Absolute perfection. Great sound. Excellent show. The Danforth Music Hall is one of my top favourite venues to see live entertainment. Great hosts. Kind, courteous and professional.

  • Perfection! Must-See!

by TalkingPie on 11/13/23The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

The Musical Box delivers a perfect, stellar, awesome, amazing performance that is a spot-on rendition of what Genesis did at the time, in terms of visuals, music, and vocals. It's a marvel, really. If you're a fan of this era of Genesis... The Musical Box is a must-see. You will be blown away and love every moment of it. I will see this bad every single time they come through town!

  • Awesome as Always

by Big Al on 11/13/23The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

If you are a fan of Genesis with Peter you will love this show and any show they do. Saw them do Trick of the Tail once and it was also awesome. They are perfectionists and incredibly talented.

  • The ultimate tribute band

by KevinDB on 11/13/23The Danforth Music Hall - TorontoRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen these guys a number of times over the years and they never disappoint. This show, they seemed to be even tighter than before, which is an already remarkable thing! Kudos to The Musical Box for the amount of preparation the put in and the high degree of execution, and thank you guys, once again, for another memorable concert experience.

  • Excellent, like real

  • So talented

by Cindy on 11/8/23Théâtre Capitole - QuébecRating: 5 out of 5

They are amazing musicians/singers. They truly do honour to Genesis. This the second time I have seen them preform, they do not disappoint.

  • a great show!

i never got to see the 'old' Genesis, but this more than make up for it!

  • Performance captivating, Sound reinforcement - not so much

by Marc on 8/8/23Rating: 4 out of 5

Our third time seeing TMB - this time The Lamb in 2023 at the same theater they performed the Genesis Extravaganza in 2022 - was phenomenally captivating in music presentation and theatrics, but, (and it’s a big but) this time the sound was terrible, and we were seated next to the sound board. Couldn’t understand the vocals and the mid range was horrific. Hopefully this has been corrected by the next time we attend their performance. Other than that, “Carry on, Blokes!”

  • These guys are legit!

by Mister Fawlty on 6/23/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

I really love The Musical Box. Nobody else captures these pieces of music so authentically, as well as the stage show. Vintage Genesis live shows are a bygone thing, but at least these guys keep it alive for me.

  • Amazing. The best cover from Genesis’ Peter Gabriel era.

by Ivan Izaguirre on 6/20/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

I went to see The Musical Box, Friday and Saturday. I came from Central America. Hope to see The Musical Box play again soon.

  • Musical Box put on a fantastic show!

by Drummer Logan on 6/20/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

All the detail given to the equipment used, slides, costumes made it feel just like the ‘75 tour for Lamb was really happening before for our eyes! Musicians were awesome - drummer had his kit tuned , all extra percussion gear to perfection - we’ll worth the ticket price!

  • The Musical Box has invented time travel!

by DaveC on 6/20/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

We went to The Musical Box's performance of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway at NYC's Times Square last weekend. As a 40+ year Genesis fan, it was everything I hoped it would be! The musicianship, the stage presentation, the costumes - I daresay that except for the modern keyboard sounds (true piano and synth polyphony) that just weren't possible in the 1970s, the "left-handed Michael Rutherford," and the "right-handed Phil Collins," you could have put TMB and PG-era Genesis side-by-side on the same stage and struggled to tell which was which. Just a fantastic show all around. At times, their sound overwhelmed the sound system at The Palladium Times Square theatre, but that actually added to the vintage, "perfectly imperfect" look and feel of the show overall. If you're a Genesis fan (or just a fan of progressive rock overall), this is a must-see band!

  • GREAT SHOW!

by MimmoNY on 6/20/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

The Musical Box are like a reincarnation of the greatest band ever, GENESIS!

  • I couldn't believe it! OUTSTANDING!

by Brooklynbeast on 6/20/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

I am not a fan of cover bands. I am a huge Genesis fan. I know their music inside and out especially The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway. Musical Box nailed it note by note perfectly. If I couldnt see what they looked like, I would swear it was Genesis. It blew my mind. I was incredibly surprised. Very Impressive.

  • Amazing travel in time back to 1975. Best show Genesis ever!

by Ivan Izaguirre on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

The lights, videos, disguises, the stories told, where a replic of what must have been Genesis playing in 1975. But this time I saw them IN NEW YORK, in Times Square… flying on a windshield!

  • Amazing

by Brad on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

The best Genesis cover band I've seen. Their performance of The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway was not only incredible but sounded just like the album! This concert was definitely a snapshot of the epic 1975 tour. I highly recommend seeing them.

  • Third time seeing The Lamb and this was a disappointment

by Gail on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 3 out of 5

Major issue started the night when the computer seemed to malfunction and the show was delayed until they rebooted and fixed the lighting and special effects program. Funny because we were staring at the old audio boards and saying 1 computer could perform everything - that went out the window! I felt like the drummer took SO many liberties with the music and never heard that before. There was a portion that was completely improvised or at least sounded that way - nothing to do with The Lamb!! Quite a few musical errors - something I've not heard before during their performances - I've seen then about 10 times now. SO with that said, not running to buy tix anymore. So disappointed.

  • Amazing!

by Drew on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Musical Box transports you back to 1974 to perfectly recreate this classic Genesis album. The last with Peter Gabriel as lead singer.

  • Cheap Time Warp

by Pimo on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

Musical Box put 100% into their shows and they did not disappoint - they nailed The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway - the musicianship and video were amazing. I took my 14 year old son and he fell in love with the album and stagecraft.

  • Better than the real thing!

by Samuel Abram on 6/19/23Palladium Times Square - New York CityRating: 5 out of 5

They were so good, it was like traveling back in time to 1974 to experience the Lamb Lies Down on Broadway by Genesis before they all moved on to do different stuff! A perfect recreation!
