The Doobie Brothers have produced some of classic rock’s most memorable hits. From the polished rock sound of “What a Fool Believes” — a No. 1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and ranked by Rolling Stone Australia as one of the greatest songs ever — to the feel-good harmonies of “Listen to the Music,” The Doobie Brothers’ more than five-decade run has made them one of the preeminent live bands to see. Since their debut album in 1971, The Doobie Brothers have won two Grammy Awards, landed eight albums in the Top 10 on the Billboard 200, been inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame and sold nearly 50 million albums worldwide. The band has showcased their 14 gold-album repertoire on a globetrotting 50th anniversary tour that began in 2021 with the reunited lineup of Pat Simmons, Tom Johnston, Michael McDonald and John McFee playing together for the first time in nearly 25 years. In June 2025, the band released their sixteenth studio album Walk This Road, which featured the reunited Doobie Brothers line up of Patirck Simmons, Tom Johnson, John McFe and Michael McDonald.

Hadn't seen the Doobie Brothers in many years. They sounded fantastic! Thoroughly enjoyed the show.
The Doobies were fantastic. They are all singing and playing great. The guy in charge of sound needs to go back to school. It was way too basey. Could often not hear the vocals and guitars, heavy bass drum...YES!! Please do a better job with the sound. Perhaps it's just the venue. It is VERY big inside, or really poorly designed. The seats go straight back, rather than up. Sitting in upper deck is like the back of the Hollywood Bowl...you need a telescope to see the guys. And even with expensive seats, you are WAY far away. Likely the last time I see a concert here. I'd rather stand at the Fillmore.
The Doobie Brothers are always fantastic. We've seen them at several different venues and the Thunder Valley Casino was one of the best! Sound, food, location, seating all great. Parking is a little tricky so go early.
Not sure if the band was just having a bad night or if there is bad blood but the first part of the concert was literally the worst I've ever seen or been to. There was no energy from the band, they seemed to be there cuz they had to be and wanted to get it over with. Second part picked up a little bit but they did some remixes of some classics that both my husband and I didn't even recognize until the chorus. Spent w/tax $300 per ticket! Wish I could get it back. Would never see them again unless I hear that maybe other people saw them recently and they were better. But definetely not spending that much on a ticket again. So so disappointing, was looking forward to this for months.
Great show. They played all the hits and some new songs off the new album.
The Doobie Bros. were spot on, great voices. Michael McDonald's voice is incredible. Great venue.
The Doobies never disappoint! The venue was great and as always the show was excellent
We were totally blown away with the Doobie Brothers performance last Friday night at The Venue at Thunder Valley Casino. The stage set was first class and sound systems could not have been better. Every note, chord and lyric was perfectly amplified and on key. Michael McDonald still plays and sings just like we recall from the 1980s concerts. Well with the money.
What was otherwise a great show with decent energy, it was way too short at only 90 minutes. With over 50 years of music and not having an opening act, this should have been at least a two hour show and longer.
