About

STAIND IN CONCERT:

With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade.  Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."

"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."

"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."

    An Experience of a Lifetime

by Tigereyes on 9/18/23Treasure Island Amphitheater - Welch

They were so much better than I could have ever hoped for. I love Staind, they have (and still do) helped me through my hard times. I saw them about 8 years ago at their reunion, but it was cold and rainy. Waited 8 years and bought tickets immediately for this show. Got great seats and beautiful weather. Would definitely go again (and again and again) if I had the opportunity.

Awesome concert but venue could make some improvements

by Lindsey M. on 9/18/23Deadwood Mountain Grand - Deadwood

Had a blast at the Staind concert in Deadwood South Dakota. Didn't want the night to end. Aaron sang the songs just like he did in the 2000s. Seriously talented! Only gave 4 stars because the venue was disappointing. We bought the top tier VIP ticket which was $360 after tax. Yes, we received the free tshirt, signed poster, vinyl which only had one song, a laminate VIP pass and the opportunity to stand on stage for the first 3 songs. After seeing where we would be standing on stage, it was a joke. In the back corner behind the drummers platform. The view was limited and you only saw the backs of the band. Once the third song was over, they released you to the crowd. We a arrived early enough to get within the first two rows so we held our spot but we were standing were everyone else paid $80 a ticket. I would prefer to see the concert from the front and up close. Very disappointing they didnt have a VIP section with prime seating for the cost of the ticket. No complaints for Staind, they were amazing. Wish they could have played longer than the hour and half.

Once was great but, twice was better!

    by Nick M. on 9/17/23

I was able to see them in MN and a week later in WI. Both concerts were fantastic! The show in Danbury, WI was my son's first concert. He loved it, wants to know when we will see them again!

    The venue

by Disappointed on 9/15/23Treasure Island Amphitheater - Welch

I purchased a VIP ticket row k seat 1 I was very disappointed sound was bad and my view was blocked by a camera man on a tripod the only time I could see anyone is if they came to the the front of the stage.

    Great show

by LB on 9/14/23Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council Bluffs

If you get the opportunity to see Staind as the headliner, jump on it. These guys tore it up. Old stuff, new stuff, heavy, acoustic. This show had it all. It was raining and they still looked like they were having fun. Will catch Staind any time they're headlining. Thanks for the great show guys, see you next time 🤘

    Sis "Staind!"

by Bushwack on 9/14/23Treasure Island Amphitheater - Welch

This was an incredible show put on by Staind for the fans From the incredible visuals going behind the band that only enhanced the song (which sounded great btw) to Aaron Lewis's vocals. He sounded absolutely spot on if not better than he did back in the 90's & early 2000's. He did this while having a cocktail in hand (most songs) or smoking (pretty much every single track) Aaron's vocals were strong as can be! He sounded so good at times that you had to wonder how he could do this without electronic help like most artists use these days. I couldn't find one spot where he cheated to bolster his voice. He didn't need too! The band was also so on point and in the pocket that the audience couldn't help but be swept up in the groove they were laying down. Of you get a chance to see Staind on this tour buy your tickets now! Go see them they are so worth it! Ticket prices are very reasonable to boot. Well worth it. These guys are so pro it's ridiculous compared to the rest of the bands out there today. ( there are others that are worth seeing as well but not many and Staind definitely delivers!)

    Hi...

by Jd on 9/14/23Treasure Island Amphitheater - Welch

Was a great show, crowd participation was very minimal, I think because the seating makes everyone comfortable just sitting down, causing the performers to think we're boring... There was a bar on the far side of the stage that was closed, would have been a lot more convenient if that was open also. Wish I would have waited to buy tickets, because the two for one deal offered the week of the show was a kick in the nuts for people that paid full price. Aaron Lewis's voice was phenomenal, glad it didn't rain all night!

    Outstanding concert!

by NightBot on 9/14/23Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council Bluffs

I had never seen Staind in person, and this show was well worth the price of admission! I love Stir Cove's acoustics, and the rain cooperated for the most part. In some cases, the rain actually added to the experience! Staind did not disappoint, and they did not let the weather slow them down at all!

    First time seeing Staind

by Deez Nutz on 9/13/23Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council Bluffs

Staind put on a hell of a great show. It was my first time seeing them live and I was really impressed. Big props to them for playing the whole show even though it was raining. Their new songs reminds me of the old school Staind that I grew up on and can't wait to hear the new album

by Becca on 9/13/23Stir Concert Cove-Harrah's Council Bluffs Casino & Hotel - Council Bluffs

Despite the rain during the concert, this event was awesome! I've been a Staind fan since high school (20+ years) and looked forward to finally seeing them live. I was not disappointed! I knew almost every song and enjoyed singing along with Aaron Lewis. I would see them again.

    Fantastic Venue-high energy performance

by Cortney on 9/13/23Treasure Island Amphitheater - Welch

I had seen Aaron Lewis on his own twice before this, so I was expecting a fantastic show. They blew my mind! It was not sold out so there was a lot of room to spread out. This venue is awesome. Even though the lines were not terrible, it would have been nicer if the drink booths were open INISDE the amphitheater. Instead only the ones out by the food trucks were open for this show.
