STAIND IN CONCERT:
With three consecutive No. 1 albums of anthemic nu metal in the '00s, Staind became one of the most successful alt-rock groups of the decade. Blending muscular guitar shredding and singer Aaron Lewis's emotional, melodic lyrics, the band's impressive live shows span their entire discography, treating fans to studio-perfect renditions of their biggest hits alongside alternative, countrified versions of songs like "Mudshovel."
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Formed in Massachusetts in 1994, Staind started out playing hard rock covers in local clubs before self-releasing their 1996 debut Tormented. While they only pressed four thousand copies, the album garnered enough attention to land them a deal with Flip Records and the production assistance of Limp Bizkit's Fred Durst for their 1999 follow-up Dysfunction. The album received favorable reviews and drew comparisons to nu metal legends like Korn, but its reception paled in comparison to 2001's Break the Cycle, an international No. 1 and multi-platinum smash. The band's next four albums would all land in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200, establishing an impressive catalog of hits and building anticipation for the band's rumored return to the studio in 2014.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"Staind was unbelievable. The band sounded amazing. Aaron's voice gives you chills live. They played everything...They even played quite a few new songs which they totally killed on."
"Staind dug deeply into their classics to get the crowd going. Aaron Lewis was great and seemed to be having fun during an audience participation sequence. Staind played every song I wanted to hear plus more so I left very satisfied."
"I expected a top flight show from Staind and got it...they exceeded my expectations. They had a great mix of hard and soft music; all Staind."
The show was EXCELLENT! Well worth the trip! All pf the bands were phenomenal!
Great concert with Seether and Staind! Both sounded awesome and played new and old hits! Really enjoyed the show!! Two of my favorite bands.
Loved this concert. I’m a big Seether fan so I got 2 great bands for the price of one.
Loved every second of this concert. All 4 bands kicked ass!
Love love love staind!!! Forgot how much until I see them live again. Awesome concert
STAIND was AWESOME!!! They brought the heat at EDBD!!
We really enjoyed the show and the St.Augustine venue. We are very lucky to the Amp in our area. Aaron Lewis vocals were great and enjoyed him singing rock again with Staind. Great reunion show for a bunch of very talented musician’s. 👍
Staind is amazing live. They sound the same in person as they do on record. Always a great time. We finally got the chance to see them live and it did not disappoint. Since then, we have seen them twice and can't wait to see them a third or possibly fourth time this year!
It's was an amazing show but I really miss the extra entertainment ( BMX show, carnival rides, fireworks, etc) previously before covid. Hoping next year it's back
Great day of bands, including Staind. Long hot day but still had a great time.
Staind is phenomenal!! If you haven't seen them live please treat yourself!! They put their hearts and souls into their craft and the outcome is sensational to the ears!! Bravo!!!
Staind was even better than anticipated. They rocked out. Had a great time.
I loved seeing the bands that I have not seen before, as well as the few that i had.
Staind was fantastic! They played new and old songs, and all went over very well. Their sound was on point. They are still extremely tight.
Great venue! Great lineup. Great performances by the artists. Seether and Staind were epic! Fozzy, Dayseeker and Aaron Jones were fantastic as well! This was our fifth year and we will be there again next year. EDBD 420 was magical.
Great songs and performance! I enjoyed the memories and hogs voice
He played a lot of his old rocking material. It was a great show!
Really good show! Nothing short of amazing live. We had a really good time.
Everybody that listens to alternative music knows Staind and their songs. They sounded great but the energy was dead. Would have liked some crowd interaction
Staind was phenomenal! They just keep getting better and better!
