Superior show from beginning to the end! Never ending packed with fun. The venue was way better then Star Plaza! I hope they will be here again next year. This year it fell on my birthday so it truly was special to me!
Show was excellent especially Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermit. He is so entertaining. This time Buckingham sang more of their songs and other ones. The Grassroots were very good. Ticket price is very reasonable. The only thing is after each performance there is not enough time to purchase or meet with groups before next act starts
Great venue enjoyed the entire show especially the humor of Peter Noone of Hermans Hermits. Second time seeing him fantastic performer.
Grass roots started, Then Buckinghams, The Herman Hermits. The energy built with each group. The Henry the Eighth finale made us smile and laugh. Two days later we are still smilin'.
All three (3) groups gave a fantastic performance. It could have started a half hour earlier, ending at 10:45 is a lttle too late. Other than time schedule nothing negative to say. The venue is great, easy access in & out.

This has not been the first time I've seen Salute to the 60's. It has become a yearly tradition for me and my best friend since high school (going on 54 years of friendship). The show brings back memories of when we where a "little" younger & all the crazy stuff we did back then. What I enjoy the most is that I am still listening to the music I love, played by the same artists who made the tunes popular. With the show being at the Venue at The Horseshoe, it is a one stop place: dinner, drinks, the show and, if so inclined, a little gambling.
We had good seats and enjoyed the experience completely. All 3 groups were great and we sang along to most songs. Peter Noone was very funny and entertaining. We like to listen to his stories on the 60's channel on Sirius radio. Our only complaint was the smell of cigarette smoke in the casino as we walked to the Venue. It was bad and all our clothes smelled of it when we got home.
This is a really great show for anyone loving the 60's music. I have seen this show 27 times and will keep going to see it each year, because it is so much fun. The Grassroots are first with all of their hits. Upbeat and full of energy. The Buckinghams second with all of their hits. Carl and Nick still have great voices. Then Herman's Hermits starring Peter Noone. Peter is so full of energy at 71 that he should be 5 years old. He is still good looking and his voice is even better than it was in the 60's. His band is talented and funny. Peter is really a very good mimic and comedian too. Show is lots of fun!
The Venue was great helping us to our seats and taking care of our wheelchair. There was plenty of room to maneuver thru the fans there. We had a great time listening to our old favorites along with the groups reminiscing their past history. Had a GREAT time!
